It was conveniently not covered under the two warranty's I purchased either. I'm so disappointed since prior to buying I was reassured they wanted my repeat business and for me to tell everyone about my experience there. So I will; I now feel unsafe in a vehicle I spent close to 20K on, I feel lied to, and I feel like they only said what they needed to to make a sale. I guess your word means little these days.
