I was very pleased with my experience at VW of Akron. I am thoroughly enjoying my new Tiguan. I have had my car for 2 weeks and was under the impression that the Service Department was going to contact m I am thoroughly enjoying my new Tiguan. I have had my car for 2 weeks and was under the impression that the Service Department was going to contact me to put the clear coat on my car within the first week. I purchased the Assurant Vehicle Care Appearance Protection when I signed all my paperwork with the Finance lady. Three times I have requested that the Service Department contact me to make an appointment and I still have not been contacted. I am a bit disappointed with that part of my purchase. More

Overall, the dealership has good people. One thing that really rubbed me the wrong way is that I was in service several times with an issue. I was at this VW location a few weeks ago and wanted to take a moment to recognize the great service I received. From scheduling the appointment to the communication throughout the process, everything was smooth and straightforward. I especially appreciated the service video and the detailed explanations of the work that was performed. It's refreshing to see that level of transparency. As someone who grew up in Germany, this was my first experience with Volkswagen service outside of Germany. I have to say, I was genuinely impressed. The entire process was handled professionally from start to finish and exceeded my expectations. A special thank you to Emily for her outstanding communication and for making the whole experience seamless. She kept me informed every step of the way and did a fantastic job coordinating both my service and recall work.
