Wesley Rooke 1 review just now New Within 30 seconds of meeting with Michael Marek, I was told another potential buyer was currently driving down from St. Cloud to look at the same vehicle, inst seconds of meeting with Michael Marek, I was told another potential buyer was currently driving down from St. Cloud to look at the same vehicle, instantly putting pressure on me to make a decision. Definitely didn’t care for that. As I’m physically checking out the vehicle, Michael jumps in before for the test drive before I could even inspect the front of the vehicle, which later I found had damage on that I was never informed about. Test drive went fine. No alarming issues besides a TPMS sensor light that I was told just needed to be “reset” since they had just put new tires on it. While on the test drive I had asked about the history of the vehicle and would like to see a carfax report before making a decision. Got back to the dealership and they conveniently forgot to print out one after I had asked 3 different times (and pushed me to make a decision before receiving one) I finally got one.As I was in the process of reading through it, I notice a pen being pushed towards me before even getting to the last page. I did like the vehicle and was a little suspicious about he number of previous owners, but couldn’t find a big reason not to buy the vehicle (besides getting pressured from the second I got there). I decided to purchase the vehicle despite all of the following. After getting in and getting ready to drive away Michal was attempting to reset the TPMs sensor and told me it should turn off within a few minutes of driving. That did not happen. Not the end of the world, right?. 2 days later, my check engine light comes on. 😑I call back Michael, and explain the situation and he tells me he needs to check with his manager before agreeing to make it right. They call me back, and set up an appointment with their service shop. I go in a few days later and they inform me that I needed a new gas cap after diagnosis and a that I needed one new TPMS sensor, none of which they had on hand and I needed to make a follow up appointment to get these issues taken care of. So, I did. I went back the next week for the appointment and was told it should be less than an hour for the gas cap, and tpms sensor replacement. THREE HOURS later, they inform me that they bought an aftermarket TPMS sensor and the truck “didn’t like it”. They never even fixed the issue and told me they didn’t want me to wait there all day. I was then told they would take care of me and that they would call me on Monday to take care of it. Never received a phone call. Meanwhile, they cleared the check engine light code, replaced the gas cap and sent me on my way. The next day, low and behold, the check engine light comes back on! I decided my time was worth more than what they had to offer, leaving me extremely frustrated. To sum up, After 5 hours of waiting, they replaced a gas cap and did not fix a single issue. Keep in mind I just handed these guys 10k dollars (down payment), but bought the vehicle “as is” since I denied their xx warranty packages they pushed me to buy (which wouldn’t have covered any of this by the way). I decided to take it upon myself since my time was worth more than what they had to offer and found a purge valve hose completely missing that runs to the charcoal canister. Check engine light is still on and tpms sensor light is also still on. I feel scammed, taken advantage of, time extremely wasted and frustrated after buying my “new” truck. I Do NOT recommend this “stealership” to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle as they will take advantage of you in any way they can, and pressure you to buy a vehicle with pre existing issues and try to cover them up. Dishonest dealership. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere More
If you want a quality used vehicle dont buy it here. Poor quality used vehicles. They dont have the integrity to back up what they sell. This dealership deserves accountability for the lack of Poor quality used vehicles. They dont have the integrity to back up what they sell. This dealership deserves accountability for the lack of integrity and customer service. Update in response... Still nope Trying to manipulate the situation to act like you did the right thing is not ethical. Providing a loaner, completing an alignment, and replacing the wiper blades doesn't resolve the following issues with the vehicle which you were given multiple attempts to fix: leaking power steering pump, leaking power steering lines, leaking valve cover gaskets, leaking spool valve gaskets, worn and deteriorating to the point of not being able to be aligned suspension components, fouled spark plugs, sliding door mechanisms failing, multiple exterior and interior lights not working, timing belt in need of replacement, and transmission cooler lines leaking all of which have been verified and documented by a certified mechanic. The issue is the failure of a thorough used car inspection by your mechanic. The issue is the failure of your integrity to take accountability for what you sell after the fact. Your trying to get out of it as cheap as possible. I've already started the process to get this vehicle road worthy out of my own pocket due to your failure to do so. Wanted a reliable family vehicle you failed to provide that. More

He and the dealership also went the extra mile when there was a concern with the car that wasn't apparent upon their initial inspection. Had my oil changed on 12/10. On the way home, the bottom panel of the dash falls off where they checked the cabin air filter. Not exactly quality work. Starting 12/16, I called daily to check a price and schedule a repair I've been needing. Each time, the service advisors are busy, the receptionist takes my number and says someone will call me back shortly. Still no call back. The other VW dealers in the area know how to communicate and do quality work, I'll be using them. More
