Your safety is at stake - I warn all luxury car consumers to be extremely cautious when dealing with the service department at Volvo Cars Tampa. In October 2025, my 2023 Volvo S60 was involved in a collis to be extremely cautious when dealing with the service department at Volvo Cars Tampa. In October 2025, my 2023 Volvo S60 was involved in a collision while under the exclusive care, custody, and control of this dealership. I was never advised of this incident by Volvo Cars Tampa, and found the car myself 4 days later at a collision facility (via Volvo Cars App). Instead of transparently disclosing the full extent of the structural and mechanical damage to me and letting my insurance adjust the claim, the dealership executed unauthorized collision repairs to cover up the incident without my explicit, prior consent, committing fraud and deception. Bear in mind their choice of collision center has closed indefinitely due to similar trade practices. Even after subsequent repair attempts, the vehicle was returned to me dynamically unstable and continues to suffer from severe highway swaying and suspension tracking issues. When escalated to Volvo Car USA corporate headquarters, their customer care team refused to intervene, claiming franchise dealers operate completely independently. Because this franchise chose to conceal a collision, execute unauthorized repairs, and return a vehicle failing to meet factory safety standards, I have officially escalated this matter to the Florida Attorney General’s Office (Military and Veterans Assistance Program) and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) due to lack of remediation. Take your safety and business to a dealership that respects their customers and consumer protection laws. More

My experience with Volvo Cars Tampa’s service department has been incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. While they did initially provide a loaner, once the service delay continued, I was told that Volvo Tampa would cover the cost of a rental car, which totaled $286. Based on that assurance, I moved forward in good faith. After I finally got my car back, I discovered that my credit card had still been charged for the rental. I contacted Volvo Tampa and was told they would refund the charge. That was three weeks ago. When no refund appeared, I called again and was told they would “contact Hertz.” That was four weeks ago. As of today, I am still waiting for the refund that was clearly promised. This isn’t a small inconvenience — it’s a failure to honor a commitment, followed by weeks of silence and inaction. I’ve now spent more time chasing Volvo Tampa for money they owe me than they spent communicating during the service delay. For a brand that markets itself as premium and customer-focused, this level of follow-through is unacceptable. If you value clear communication, accountability, and basic financial integrity, I would strongly caution you before using Volvo Cars Tampa for service. More

BUYER BEWARE! !! I will never go back to this dealership as we had none stop issue after issue with our CPO 2019 Volvo S60. After a year & a half of issues after is !! I will never go back to this dealership as we had none stop issue after issue with our CPO 2019 Volvo S60. After a year & a half of issues after issue with our car, we attempted to trade it in for a brand new XC90 & we were very clear that we did NOT want to lease and only wanted to finance this new vehicle. We were told that the Volvo we were looking at would be approved in our budget & Volvo told us to put a $500 hold on this car so they can start the paperwork, but all deposits would be refundable if they could not honor the agreement we signed on. The very next day our saleslady called us back & informed us that the bank would not allow us to finance & our only operation was to lease a completely different vehicle than we were looking at & our payments would be $300 more a month than what we agreed on. Right away I refused the offer & requested our $500 deposit back, to which our saleslady advise she will get back to us on that. After a week of this dealership avoiding our calls & refusing to get back to us, I finally was able to get ahold of our saleswomen who was extremely rude, yelled at us & said it was our fault for backing out of the deal and our deposit will NOT be refunded because to contract said that I would be charge a $300 non-refundable deposit (even though we were told it would be refundable if they could not honor the contract & we were actually charged $500). After another few days of very hostile back & fourth text messages we were finally able to get the dealership to refund our deposit like they were legally required to do. I should have filed a complaint to the state on this issue & for fraud, but unfortunately we got too busy with life & did not have the time to follow up on this until now. **I still have all the text messages as evidence to support these claims did actually happen** More
