Dear Mr and Mrs. Khafif: January 31, 2011 I am very sorry that you had a poor experience at my dealership as nothing is more important satisfying every customer. My research shows that your wife agreed to lease a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country Limited from Westbury Jeep. A written agreement was prepared and signed by all parties on November 11, 2010. She in fact chose the vehicle and the interior color. That agreement included arrangements to terminate your current lease as well as an understanding that we would be purchasing the new vehicle for them from a different Chrysler dealer. That same day we secured a vehicle for you at a dealer in Connecticut. This process was hurried along at your insistence. Mrs. Khafif even made a comment at this point in the transaction as to how pleased she was with the service she was receiving from Westbury Jeep. She was very satisfied after having spoken to the business manager and finalizing all the leasing and insurance details. The next day, November 12, 2010, our transporters left early in the morning to pick up your New Town & Country and returned around noon. This is a vehicle that we would not normally stock. In fact that vehicle is still in our stock. At the your insistence we scheduled the delivery for the 12th of November. We were in the process of making their vehicle ready when you came into the dealership and cancelled the deal. You explained to us that they had found a deal at a Toyota Dealership that they preferred. With that said, I do not wish to keep your deposit and have already processed a refund. I wish you the best going forward and hope this clears any issue you have had with my staff.
