Hello,I don't know if anyone really reads these reviews on their car dealership service department!cause if they did then it wouldn't be any negative reviews like this one!first off the service department on their car dealership service department!cause if they did then it wouldn't be any negative reviews like this one!first off the service department at this car dealership South Western Nissan near Western is something that people should understand before you take your car there for repairs!like I had done and couldn't believe they would charge over$300etc just to tell me my car needed to be repaired!and on top of that they service didn't even diagnose the problem right after I got a second opinion!how in the world did they think I wasn't going to check if there diagnose was right after a $1700 estimate!and to think I thought their were right!foolish of me!so too you who think their going to give you the right estimate your wrong!their will tell you another problem which will cost you more money!now that's highway robbery!I hope this service department get their licenses taken away just like they take away people money!stay away from this rip off which is South Western Nissan!you will be Sorry! I went to the service last week for a noise coming from underneath the car. Same Problem was diagnosed wrong 3 years ago. I thought they repaired it well. When it went out of control this last couple month underneath the car. Same Problem was diagnosed wrong 3 years ago. I thought they repaired it well. When it went out of control this last couple months, I took it back. They said the warranty was over a month and a half ago. Did not fix it. Did not assume any responsibility. Blamed me with coming back too late. Charged me diagnostics fee. I took my car back. Would never go back to this dealer again. Actually would never go back to Nissan at all. As a result, I sold my Nissan yesterday and bought a new Toyota. This dealership is the same dealership that denied fixing our brand new Pathfinder’s sunroof 6 years ago. It was leaking and they told me that sunroofs would leak. They even put that on service records (in writing). That was not very clever of them. As a result of their behavior, Nissan ended up replacing the vehicle with a brand new one after the arbitration process. Western Ave Nissan is a dealership that definitely carries no business ethics and values. Their Nissan license should be revoked. More

Long story short they don't have the proper equipment now they want ME to incur the expense of towing the car a 2nd time all the way to Orland Park Nissan (go figure) who can work on it. 1-800-Nissan1 is concurring with them. See how they do black people? Don't waste your time or money dealing with them. PLEASE!! More

Go Here. Western Nissan has the most amazing people working there. I was in the market for a new car and happen to stop by here. I was able to get a new Titan at a great price and with 0 down. Where to begin? I have been working toward getting myself a car. My parents offered to help me out, but I wanted to do it independently. I start my senior year at the end of August and couldn’t wait to get it. a few weeks ago I started looking and found a gem (so I thought). I bought a car from the internet, and was super excited. It was a Nissan Sentra. The day after I got it, it wouldn’t start. I tried everything I know, but nothing helped. I took it to Western ave Nissan, where my father goes. The service department delivered the bad news. The car had all sorts of issues from, mechanical to electrical. I was devastated. My father happened to run into the salesman that he got his car from. He told him the situation and he said he would be right back. Todd came back and asked if I would like a new Sentra. I looked at my dad and said I don’t think I can afford it. Todd asked if we had a few minutes and said let’s take a walk. He showed us a base model last year car with an excellent rebate. He ran my credit and there wasn’t much there but my dad offered to co sign for me. They took my car that was in service and helped us out. They gave me most of what I paid for it. Going from a teenager to a young man this car is my first real responsibility. Im so glad that Western Nissan was able to help me with the purchase, I will learn a great deal from this experience. Please don't go to this dealership, especially their service department. From the service department manager, Randy to the other people working there, they show no respect for a customer. I had been using NorthShore Nissan in Highland Park for a couple of years with excellent service until I had to move to the South side of Chicago for work, so I decided to take may car to them. I took it in with something wrong with the heating system. As at the time I did it was covered by my extended warranty, but due to the sloppiness of the Western Avenue Nissan Service center ( they will promise to call but will never call. You call them and they never answer or say the person you are looking for is not available. Ths went on for over six month). My car went put of warranty and further faults developed from the original problem. I will be taking legal action against them. This could have been a good place to take your car to but the people running the place are so unprofessional and untrustworthy. If you just want a new car or want to repair your car, ind other dealership. Avoid these people except they change their customer service and professionalism. My two cents More
