Working with Matthew was a positive experience throughout the sales process. Even before meeting Matthew in person, he was quick to respond to every question, follow up with the information we needed, and w the sales process. Even before meeting Matthew in person, he was quick to respond to every question, follow up with the information we needed, and work with us to put this purchase deal together in a very amiable fashion. At no point did we feel the age-old "pressure the customer" tactic", but instead, we felt that Matthew (and the entire team at Wilson County Hyundai) were consummate professionals throughout the process. After making the purchase and removing the dealership decal from the car's rear, we noted some paint damage (due to the strong adhesive pulling a bit of the paint away from the car.). When we returned to the dealership to discuss, we met with Tom Harmon, and he was quick to provide a solution, inviting us to bring the car into the dealership for paint correction. We plan to take the car in tomorrow. I will say this - I have worked in the automotive industry for much of my life, including most recently as an automotive journalist - and I have worked with many dealerships across the country. I can tell you that our experience at Wilson County Hyundai has been great so far, and we will continue to do business here in the future so long as that high level of customer service quality remains part of their culture. Purchased an extended warranty for my new Hyundai from the dealership. Traded new car in so didn't need the warranty anymore. Canceled the warranty within 30 days of purchase. Hyundai USA sent refund for the dealership. Traded new car in so didn't need the warranty anymore. Canceled the warranty within 30 days of purchase. Hyundai USA sent refund for the warranty 1 May 2024. Waited and contacted them at then end of May about the refund told i had to wait till the month end finance gets completed and they would send the check. Called several more times during the month of June finally told check was in the mail (Kerry Wade..ms). Waited over a week and half no check. Called got the run around. Would leave message but all mail boxes are full or not set up. Would like the owner to call me but can't leave message. I guess the next stop is small claims court.
