I thought the dealership was up front and there was no pressure to buy. I also had trouble with finding my title and they still let me take the new truck while we awaited the arrival of the copy. They walked me through the process and worked with my schedule. Just overall a good experience

I purchased a new 2017 F350 Power Stroke 4x4 from Columbia Ford Kia after a recommendation from a friend. My experience was excellent, working with a team of employees to make the process as smooth as possible. My husband was looking to replace his 2003 truck. We went to Toyota and met Shane. We told him what we were looking for and we got a RAV-4 the same day. The next day we went to pick up our car and Shane said there was a 2 hour wait for our inspection sticker because the service department was very busy. Shane took our car downtown and got it inspected so we wouldn't have to sit around for 2 hours.. He went above and beyond and we will recommend him to our friends. He was friendly and knowledgeable and we appreciated the time and attention he gave us.

Have had to use Dowling's service for a airbag recall and a brake inspection. They were very friendly and honest. My car is a 2006 with low miles but I thought it was time to get brakes checked and would have been fine with replacing pads as the car is 11 yrs old. Its not making any noise so when they let me know the pads were at 80% front and 60% back of original life and didnt need replacing I was impressed as they easily could have sold me on new ones due to age. Both of the men who helped me were extremely friendly.

Nicole was fantastic throughout the entire buying process, keeping us informed of what was going on, making sure everything met our expectations. A few months later our other vehicle was needing to be replaced, so we returned to Nicole and ended up buying a 2013 Ford F-150. Well with a used vehicle, theres always the chance of it having issues... The issues were addressed to Rob in the service department and within a few days, all the issues were taken care of. While the truck was being fixed, they accommodated me with a loaner that was equivalent to what I owned. We couldn't be any happier with the experiences at Marcotte.

The single worst experience with a car repair service I have ever had! Avoid Hoffman at all costs.
I own a Saab 900s convertible and the rag top roof mechanism broke. My own mechanic said I needed to bring it to a Saab repair shop and he suggested Hoffman.
When I brought the car into Hoffman I was told by the service coordinator "We can't fix this don't you know Saabs are no longer made?" When i asked if he was the Saab mechanic he said no. I asked then to let's have the Saab expert make that determination.
Four days later when no one called me from Hoffman I called them. I was told it was a broken shear pin and the part was on order.
Another 5 days passes no call I drive over to Hoffman and was told the part was back ordered 8 weeks. At this point I took the car home and made a call to the person I purchased the car from. She recommended a mechanic closer to her. I called and was told to bring the car in.
2 days later I get a call that it is not the shear pin that broke but the ball joint. They found the part it was being over nighted and I had my car back in 4 days working like new and it did not cost me an arm and a leg.
Hoffman diagnosed the problem incorrectly and to this day I still never got a call that the part was in. That was 12 weeks ago.
They lie, they were rude and I would not trust them with any of my five cars.
Don't say your a Saab dealership/repair service when your not.

I am disappointed to write a sub-par review for Rhinebeck Ford. As Rhinebeck residents, we support local businesses as much as possible and are pleased to pass on good experiences to our friends and neighbors. Unfortunately, we cannot confidently recommend Rhinebeck Ford.
We are educated consumers who do our research before big purchases. We walked into Rhinebeck Ford knowing exactly what we wanted and how much we wanted to spend. The vehicle we were interested in was priced fairly and our negotiations were short. The sales department was pleasant.
We experienced a mechanical problem with our car within the standard 30 day warranty period. Rhinebeck Ford incorrectly diagnosed the problem, made scheduling and follow up appointments difficult, and took a generally argumentative tone with our party. We received two second opinions from two very reputable mechanics who correctly diagnosed the problem and offered sensible solutions to us free of charge. Both second opinion mechanics were surprised that Rhinebeck Ford had seemingly replaced a perfectly fine wheel bearing, wasted our time, greatly inconvenienced us, and suggested we unsafely reduce tire pressure as a short term fix to the problem. Both mechanics recommended a new set of tires in order to be completely sure that our problem was not something more momentous that would make the car unsafe or a very poor purchase.
We took our findings back to Rhinebeck Ford who would not replace our tires or extend our warranty. While they were legally in the right (the standard 30 day lemon law does not cover tire replacement), we were very surprised that they were not willing to make very a small monetary sacrifice that would turn our unfortunate experience into a positive review. Instead, we left without peace of mind, not knowing if our mechanical problem was correctly diagnosed and addressed. The entire experience with the service department felt dishonest, one-sided and uninformative. All technicians seemed inexperienced. We drove away with more unanswered questions than when we walked in.
It is unfortunate that we had such a negative experience with the service department at Rhinebeck Ford, as our experience with the sales department had been relativity positive. We had had several conversations with our sales rep that we were delighted to find exactly what we were looking for in our own backyard, and that we were willing to pay a bit more for a car that had been locally owned, driven, and serviced. Unfortunately, we will be looking elsewhere for our next car purchase.

In looking for trucks I drove an hour to Branford Ford and didn't feel any pressure at all to purchase. Although I ended up leaving a deposit that day. A car is a very expensive purchase. It takes weeks of research to decide which make and model to buy, I don't want just anyone servicing it. This is one of the very few dealers that have earned my trust. Great group of nice people. I have bought many vehicles and always cringe when I bring it in for service. Buy it from one place service it in another .Very hard to find a dealer who can be both. I was very Fortunate to find them. Could not be more impressed with there service department clean efficient and open saterday.

I recently had an oil change at this location and everything seemed fine...that is until my car started smoking two days ago and I had to take it in to be checked out. I decided to take my car somewhere other than a Crowley location (thank God!) and it turns out the person who did my oil change (at Crowley Ford Lincoln) FORGOT to put a rubber gasket around the oil filter, which essentially means my oil has been leaking ALL OVER MY ENGINE AND UNDER THE HOOD and was bone dry when I took it in. They had to do a whole new oil change, along with an extensive washing of the car, which was soaked in oil. The cost of these fixes were $155.
UPDATE: After going into Crowley (multiple times) and being shunned into the waiting room to be forgotten about...I was finally assisted by Jesse. He made copies of everything and said he would write me a check immediately. It's now two months later and I just called to check in because I still have not received a check. At first Jesse acted like he had no idea who I was, but then after realizing, he said he'd leave a message for Gary AGAIN. THAT'S IT. This incident occurred in July and it's now almost October and I am most likely never receiving that check. Gary clearly has no intentions of resolving this issue and doesn't care about his clients.
I am also taking this up with the Better Business Bureau where I will be filing a personal complaint.

Went in for a possible transmission sound - DD
At 7:00 am with an appointment I took my F150 for a possible transmission sound and was told that I had spark plug issues not transmission.The service person John told me he would call me with an update on the removal of the plugs. NO CALLS. At 3:30 I called thinking there were no issues only to be told we have to keep your truck. Out of 8 spark plugs 6 were broke off by the service center. They state they have a tool to deal with this. The next day no call again, I call at 11:50 get disconnected or hung up on, I call right back and the woman tells me John will call you right back he's on another line. Again NO CALL back. I then ask my husband to call hours later and he gets a response of they are not sure if the truck will be done again, my husband pushed back as he also had been a service mechanic that it does not take days to replace spark plugs. Miraculously my husband calls 1.5 hours later and the truck is done. I inquired about the NO CALLS when arriving at the service center and was told they were too busy to return my call. So once your vehicle is in service don't expect any quality customer service because there is none! So to take care of 8 spark plugs it took almost two entire days!
