COMPLETELY PAINLESS & EASY DEALING WITH TOP SALEPERSON - ramdesign
FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS ALWAYS HATED GOING TO BUY CARS AT DEALERSHIPS, MY EXPERIENCE AT QUALITY AUTOMALL WAS MORE THEN A PLEASANT SURPRISE.
THERE WAS NO PRESSURE FROM DANIEL SANGIRARDI (Sales Consultant) AND/OR FROM FINANCE DEPARTMENT PERSON (sorry I forgot your name but he's a big Yankees fan). I ENDED UP WITH THE CAR I WANTED AND THE PRICE I WANTED.
THE ONLY THING THAT WOULD HAVE MADE THIS EXPERIENCE BETTER IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IF THEY HAD SERVED COFFEE AND COOKIES SAND HAD A LARGE SCREEN TV TO WATCH THE GAME WHILE I WAITED FOR THE PAPERWORK...MAYBE NEXT TIME!!
PS; DIANA WHO TOOK MY INITIAL CALL AND CONVINCED ME NOT TO WAIT WAS EXCELLENT TOO...
An Excellent Experience - Mike and Diane
A truly professional dealership. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, patient and courteous. They helped us select our vehicle, located the exact car and had it available for delivery in a few days. They assisted us in understanding and selecting financing options. When we went to pick up the car they spent a great deal of time going over the features and making us comfortable with our purchase. We have purchased many cars in the past, and when comparing dealerships, this was far and away a superior experience.
Low pressure old school Mom and Pop dealer - Tyemow03
Schultz Ford of West Haverstraw New York- If you are looking for a Ford this is the place to go. This dealer brought me back to a place 30+ years ago, when your local car dealer actually knew your name and actually cared about repeat business. Yes, if you’re into the high pressure chaotic wall street trading floor zoo- then this is NOT the place for you.
Do your homework online first and take a look at what they have in stock. Keep in mind they have another store in Nanuet NY and they can get you just about any Ford vehicle to your liking. When I arrived, I was greeted by Rose who did a great job making me feel right at home. They had the car I was interested in ready and waiting in the back. Clyde brought the car I was to test drive around and showed me the highlights of the car.
After a nice test drive up scenic route 9w I returned to the showroom. Due to my situation with the VW "Dieselgate" class action lawsuit I was unable to negotiate a deal then and there. I met with Brian the sales manager who reviewed the financials of the vehicle that I was interested in. We stayed in touch over the next couple of weeks as to the status of the buyback of my vehicle from VW. The day they took my VW back I called over to Brian and we worked out the final deal over the phone (Luckily the car I test drove was still available). Again, as I said "no pressure" at all...
I filled out the financial information online and was pre-approved within minutes. Clyde called my insurance company and added the car to my policy. All I needed to do was sign the papers. Due to a scheduling conflict, we needed to take the car that day. Because we arrived after service hours Brian the Sales Manager was actually washing my car in the service bay. I was amazed by the Roll your sleeves up attitude here! You would never get this from a Prima-Donna NJ dealer. I've never experienced service like this at any dealer before. We live an hour away in New Jersey (The home of high pressure sleazy car dealers!) We could have shopped the "Auto Malls" locally but we would never have had the level of customer service that we experienced at Schultz Ford of West Haverstraw.
This dealer truly goes out of their way to earn your business. What a great buying experience! We will be back for our next Ford. I’m not sure when that’ll be, our Expedition has over 130k miles on it and is still running strong (Knock on wood!) Ford has come a long way in building quality products.
Can speeds not working. - Tom
Brought truck because only one fan sped "high" was working. Dropped truck off for diagnosing this problem, I was called part in stock picked up truck same day, a resister was replaced. Credit from previous servicing paid for over half of this unexpected problem. I now enjoy full fan option once more. Thank you ford service department.
Pretty mediocre experience - Tim Zhang
I am someone who values my time very highly. I came for my 15k mile oil change and a throttle cleaning that I SCHEDULED by appointment and was told that I would only have to wait 1 hour to an hour and a half. Three hours later, I finally get my paperwork and car back but not before being told there were several other services that the Technician recommends I get for my car as if I can just magically make another $200 appear out of nowhere after already dropping over $200 for the oil change and throttle cleaning.
I would have really appreciated being told straight up if the process would take 3 hours OR been told that the process would take longer than anticipated. I understand that they may be busy but from what I could see, there were no more than 10 people there that day.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME - vmarcinv
Don't waste your time with this dealership , I spend $1800 to fix severe vibration. They told me vibration is coming from steering rack and it's unsafe to drive so I decided to do it, after few days vibration is still present and I lost $1800 .Vehicle was rechecked again and vibration was present but this time, somehow, miraculously it was safe to drive. I tried to contact so-called manager Jason whom refused to return my phone calls (I left him multiple messages ) or speak with me when I showed up at the dealership. They refused to provide me with a loaner because I didn't buy vehicle there so they told me that FORD corporation wouldn't reimburse them for loaner usage because I didn't purchase vehicle form them. But they were fine with me paying $1800 for misdiagnosed repairs. Stay away from FORD and especially from this useless dealership.
Got the truck I wanted with little hassle - leftfast
I was looking for my own car and looked at what sort of car would make a good fit. After thinking about my needs, personal and business wise, I thought a pickup would be a good fit. After doing some initial research, there was little doubt that I was going to get a Ford F150. I dug into the Ford website and visited some other dealerships closer to home to come to get a good idea of the right model, options, packages, exterior/interior colors, etc. After a few weeks, I had a pretty good idea of the truck I wanted and the price I wanted to pay for it (thank you TrueCar). I went to Ford.com, searched for inventory, and found a few trucks. Most of them had certain options that were missing, but there was one that had everything I wanted and a bit more. However, the truck was in Mahwah, about an hour away from me. I went to my local dealership and told them about the truck, but 1) I wasn't getting decent pricing and 2) I wanted to see the truck for myself. I felt bad for the sales consultant at the local dealership, it wasn't his fault in regards to the pricing. I went to Mahwah, test drove the truck with Richard Bennett (nice British dude), and then went home to figure out what I wanted to do (wait a few months and get a 2018 model, or go back and figure out a way to get the truck). I called the dealership the next day and Richard was unfortunately not working that day, but I talked to a young sales consultant, John Salvatore, and he's the sort of guy I like dealing with because he's not your stereotypical "car salesman." After discussing some initial pricing and accessories over the phone, I went to the dealership, and sat with John, going over some other aspects of the car. It was 8:45pm and they were about to close, but John and I started working on the pricing and went back and forth for a while with his finance manager before coming to a deal at 9:30pm. John wasn't trying to push me (I think, as a tech savvy guy, he probably knew I had a number in my head from doing my research and I was trying to hit that number). We got to a deal that made sense for me (a little more down than I wanted and a longer term loan, but the pricing and payments were comfortable for me with an option to payoff quicker if I'd like). I told them I only wanted 1 company to run my credit, and by mistake they ran it with a few more companies, but they apologized and gave me a letter that would help me get those credit checks off of my credit report (it was an honest mistake). I went to pick up the car, had a nice, long discussion with the finance manager, Dennis Henry, and ended up having little time to go over the car with John. We rescheduled the time a few days later and John broke down everything I needed to know about the car and answered any questions I had. He also went over the accessories and we figured out what made the most sense for me.
Overall, it was a good experience. John is a guy who knows cars and doesn't need to be gimmicky to sell you the right car with the right options for you at a good price. He's pretty straightforward and explained the truck and its features very well. So, if you're like me (analytical, breaks things down, straightforward, doesn't like all the gimmicky stuff and the pushing that car salesman typically do), John's a guy you'd like to deal with. He's relatively new to the business, and the younger generation would probably like dealing with him. I'd recommend John and the Mahwah Ford dealership in the future.
Great car buying experience - Steve13
Had a very good experience with this dealership. Staff are all very nice and not constantly following you around while looking for a vehicle. I worked with Ricardo and I will say he made the experience of finding my new truck very easy and we came to an agreement on a pretty good price. Also what really made these guys great is that they held my truck for me with no form of payment yet or anything because I was unable to return due to a family situation. That made me very happy to do business with them. All in all very good experience finding my truck here and Ricardo was an awesome fun guy to work with the whole time. I would definitely recommend him and this dealer to a friend.
Service after sale is the worst i have ever encountered - geemccleod
I brought my car in to replace a blown tire. I paid Extra for the WHEEL and TIRE WARRANTY. The SERVICE MANAGER Wanted to charge ME 95.00 dollars for the TIRE VALVE that monitors air in the tire. HE never bothered to check the WARRANTY, I had to go get the MANAGER from the NEW CAR DEPARTMENT to tell him he was wrong. I have no faith in the service manager OR service department at KOEPPEL FORD, I would not RECOMMEND any body to THEM.
Great service, great people and very helpful. - roberger7
Great service, great people and very helpful. Ramon was the one who help me and he knows exactly what he was doing and very patient with me. Also the Sales Manager - Sal Aiello, very nice and very helpful too. I will recommend Ford of Englewood to all my friends.
I have had many problems with the dealership - Ss5256
They had my car for 2 months when they we're doing warranty work, I brought it back for an additional month as mistakes were made. My exhaust was not lined up with my car and it was slamming into the underside of the car. Filters were written on paper as changed, however the old filter would still be in the car. I had similar issues with my previous car as well. The car came with damage supposed to be fixed by the dealer, but they wanted the cheapest way to get around it and never fixed it. I brought my vcar back to return it two months later as the transmission was going on the truck shortly after my $11,700 purchase. Most recently someone took my car to get gas and hit the curb and took a piece out of my rim. My car door retains water and the battery in my car began to die after the second year of owning the car. The only employee who was kind and thoughtful was rob. I would not recommend this dealer, they enter one person as driving your car when in actuality you don't really know who moved it. I had too many issues with the a brand new car to count. The day we began paperwork for my car it had 17 miles. I come back to purchase car two days later and it has 70 miles on it. $31,000 for a very poorly handled car. I will never get back the money I spent here and am very disappointed. Have been a loyal customer for 20 years to get treated poorly.
Such a bad experiance as a ford customer. no loyalty at all - nazafj
I took a loaner and left my IPAD and when I called back they said they have put it away. when I picked up it was cracked screen and no case at all. when I called again they changed and said customer dropped it off. First time I leased explorer and though to be a long customer never ever come back. cant wait till my lease over. Very bad customer service.
Shady sales, sleazy service - D
Trying to make my review as brief as possible. I had a very mixed experience with Leo Kaytes Ford on the purchase of my used Explorer. I did get the Explorer at a decent price and the sales experience was decent for the most part other then the sales women Courtney becoming very pushy and telling me they wouldn't hold the vehicle for two days till the weekend even though I had a deposit on it. Anyway the first things I noticed was that there were no floormats at all in the vehicle. I also noticed some lights out in the gauge cluster and the bezel for the 3rd row folding seat switches was popped out with the tabs broken off. Courtney assured me these would all be taken care before delivery. Sure as xxxx they weren't. Instead I got excuses...not all used cars come with floormats, she completely bypassed the gauge cluster bulbs & they only put double sided tape on the 3rd row switch bezel which was already pealing off & she kept insisting its better then it was. Being in the dealership business all used cars being sold get floormats whether they are factory or universal fit. It should have had floormats & I'm sure they either took them out and kept them to re-sell or they got their money from the customer trading it in. The gauge cluster bulbs are easy enough to fix, but for people who aren't mechanically inclined this is a big deal. The switch bezel should have been replaced with either a new one or swapped from another vehicle.
My main problem is with the service department. They don't do proper used car checks or preps here. I happened to notice there was an aftermarket Tecselect oil filter on there instead of the proper Ford Motorcraft FL-820s filter. That got me curious so I checked the oil which seemed a little used, but still pretty clean. I also checked air cleaner...sure as xxxx the filter was filthy as could be & I noticed they used aftermarket Bosch wiper blades. I forget who I was forwarded to in service I think it was a Mike or a Matt & he confirmed about the aftermarket oil filter & wiper blades and said he would check with the tech on the air filter (which he never did). I was very perturbed about a Ford dealer using aftermarket parts on a Ford vehicle & these were very common things which should have been sitting on their parts shelf. He only offered with an attitude to swap them out for Ford ones if it would make me happy. I told him that's not the point it should have been Motorcraft parts from the beginning & the air filter should have been changed when they did the used car prep. Since I do a good amount of driving I decided to go ahead and do an oil change. I then noticed the driver's side sway bar link was completely missing! That is a big safety issue! The passenger side was new looking. I emailed pictures to Leslie the used car manager & she said she would speak to service. Courtney also showed me when I originally came to look at the vehicle what they did on the used car prep & brand new front sway bar links was one on the things. Got a call from the same guy I previously spoke with in service and he was pretty much calling me a liar saying that how could I not notice the sway bar link missing, that it could have come loose and fallen out and that they would need to see the vehicle to confirm it was missing before they ordered me one. First off if the link was bad they would have noticed play in it when they did the used car check. Secondly because Courtney showed me they replaced both that means the tech did not fully tighten the drivers side link or he forgot to put it in after taking the old one out. I could tell right away from this guys attitude that he was in no way going to put one in as a courtesy and that he would make me pay full price. I ended up buying a new link from the Ford dealer by my job & installing it myself.
While all these things were relatively minor to me it is a big deal for the unsuspecting customer. There are obviously a lot of issues going on here between Sales & Service & while I may be a bit weary of buying another vehicle from their sales department, I certainly refuse to deal with their shady service department and suggest anyone else reading this do the same! I will say (thank G-D) the explorer has been very good to us so far and that's the main thing
Horrible! - Ambermy42
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!! If you want a vehicle there the last place you want to go to, poor communication, they call you 24/7 to get you in there but once they think they got you, once you put that money down they treat you like you don't even exist. No phone calls, no emails no updates NOTHING! I ordered my Ford Explorer 2017 from the factory plant to be built, was told it was going to go in right away, I go to the dealership a week later and John tells my mom that he just put the order in, but it was their loss because I went to Scarsdale Ford and they are so wonderful and their ratings don't lie. Scarsdale was very professional and I walked out with my car 2 days after I made the request, I got all the features that I wanted in the car and MORE!!! Ford Explorer 2017 xlt 4wd, 201a package, bliss system and cold weather package!!! PEOPLE GO TO SCARSDALE FORD IF YOU WANT GREAT SERVICE!!!!! DONT GO TO CITY WORLD FORD YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Horrible Service Experience - Ripped Apart My Ignition - Jessica C.
Don't ever purchase a car from here or even bring yours in for service! They are liars and thieves. I bought my Ford Fusion in 2014 from a different dealer but brought it to Pleasantville Ford a week ago when my key broke. The key broke in my hand and was never stuck in the ignition. There were no problems with the car, all I needed was a new key. The only thing that Pleasantville Ford needed to do was to program the new key that I purchased from them. Instead, they told me that my broken key was stuck in the ignition (it wasn't) and that they would call me back with a "price quote" to replace the ignition. After 6 hours of me calling them and zero returned phone calls, I spoke with the owner of the dealership "Tony," who advised me that the ignition had been drilled apart and that I owed them an additional $500 to replace it. I never authorized them to touch my ignition, and further, was never even told that this was what they were doing (despite my 10 phone calls that day). Not only that -- this was not necessary, as the broken key was not stuck in the ignition when I dropped the car off there! Ultimately, I had the car towed to a privately owned shop in White Plains, who fixed my ignition for much cheaper than what Ford had quoted me. I am now suing Ford to recover the money it cost me to fix the damage they did. There are several other Ford dealerships in the Westchester area, avoid Pleasantville!!!
NEVER AGAIN - Kay Pach
WARNING The mechanics either don't know what they're doing or they are a bunch of crooks. I've had 4 major jobs done in the last 2 months (1st job...feul injector- I was using 89 instead of 87 so that explains why job had to get done in the first place but they left my cars engine hesitating on acceleration after that job ... then rotors became warped out of nowhere so brakes have to be replaced with that....ok....then its my front bushings and the entire lower control arm has to be replaced with that) Got it replaced. I took a step back and realized there's something wrong here. I have a 2014 Ford Fusion and there's no reason for my car to have had so many problems. Each time I had my vehicle serviced I left with a new problem so be careful with them. Last time I went right after I had the bushings replaced, all of a sudden they claimed my rear bearings were worn. Oh no, somethings wrong here...I had it checked by 2 other Ford dealerships and they could not confirm. It turns out I just needed a wheel alignment. I wonder what else they've misdiagnosed. Thats very unprofessional. I learned my lesson. Lou and Charmaine in the service department wear their emotions on their sleeves so their customer service skills will not likely keep a smile on your face. Never again. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but you guys should know so that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Take your business elsewhere.
Service - Thelma
Smith Cairns returned my car from their service department damaged and denied responsibility. Their service representative lied to protect her staff who are incompetent of honesty. The owner of Smith Cairns although listened to my complaint of their Service Department did nothing to rectify the situation and had no problem with losing an account. This place used to be bustling with business and now is starving for the next unsuspecting innocent customer. They are terrible; there are plenty of complaints against everyone there. Therefore if you have to go to Smith Cairns Yonkers Service make sure you record your conversations, take pictures of your car before service and after service while on their premises; get a copy of the service order before leaving and then compare to the final service order. They make serious mistakes and take no responsibility for it.

My experience at DiBlasi was excellent. This was the fist new car for my wife and I, and Eddie explained everything in detail and helped to make the deal worthwhile for us. We even asked to test drive the car to our house to make sure it fit in our garage, which was no hassle to the dealership. On our way back, my wife (being not too familiar with driving larger suv's) unfortunately scratched the back left door and it was taken care of at no additional cost to us. Eddie was extremely friendly and we were happy to be his first deal at DiBlasi.

My experience at Ford in Paramus was nothing less than stellar. From the moment I entered the building I was welcomed and attended to. From choosing my car to driving away the same day and everything in between, the employees who were part of the process truly went above and beyond to ensure that my experience at Ford was a pleasant one.
