My role in this review is from the position of an independently contracted mechanic by a couple looking for a quality used vehicle.
As witness to the many conversations this particular couple encountered while looking to buy, it was refreshing to see -them- addressed and not myself (I'm not the one buying the vehicle). It can be a frustrating experience when communication involves multiple languages and this was the most comfortable by miles for the couple in our story.
After they purchased the vehicle, one of the most important thoughts stressed was how differently they were treated from lot to lot and how Keith and Trent made them feel comfortable. That may not sound like a big thing, but as a professional that is often seen as an added challenge to a sale, these guys welcomed us in every professional manner one could want.
The end result was an experience that should stand as example for what it is to be a quality sales professional.

Coming on the heels of selling a classic car through Streetside Classics DFW, I stumbled upon a gorgeous 2002 Thunderbird online at the Nashville location. After watching one almost identical to it sell at Streetside Tampa, I decided to make an offer on the remaining one in Nashville. My call was answered by David Stafford. I presented my offer and he, in turn, presented it to the owner. When my initial offer was rejected, David came back and told me what the owner's final offer was. Still too high, I left my final offer with David. When I saw the dealer number come up on caller i.d., I just figured it was a rejection. I was thrilled when my offer was accepted, and I have a feeling it was the way that David presented the offer to the owner. I really appreciated all the follow up that David offered, both by email and by phone. He referred me to a contact at JJ Best Banc for financing, which was all done by phone and email within a day's time. A shout out also goes to Kelly Archibald, office manager, who got my title and paperwork to me in two business days, which was great so that I could go ahead and register my beautiful Tbird here in Dallas! I have to let everyone know that I love this car dealership! My first purchase was in 2012 and I paid off my truck in three years. During my time paying on my truck I had wonderful people( Mr.Don) working with me to help me stay on track and to keep my payments on time. I decided to go back to get a new car and Wyatt and Johnson was my main place. It's not just because of the cars its maily because they are such sweet and wonderful people. I purchace a car and a full tank of gas with lots of love. I wasnt feeling well when I went out there but they made my experience as pleasent as it can be. The truck I purchase was a 2001 Ford Explorer and its still running great. My new Lexus - Joe, lexus5
I went to this dealer to check out a Lexus LS 460 I saw on their sight. When I arrived, I was warmly greated, and they pulled the car up for viewing. Me and my wife took the car for a spin, and we loved it. We went into the office, and agreed on a price. I picked the car up and drove it home.
The next day, I took my Lexus to my mechanic to just have it checked out. They found a problem, and I took the car back to the dealer, and the manager said, "No problem, I told you if you found anything wrong with the car, we would fix it", and they did.
This is a dealership that is honest, even if it cost them a lot of money to fix the problem. I will surely return here, for their honesty, and their kindness to me and my wife.

The experience was okay and the truck was a fair price but when we got it home we found a headlight was out and that the windshield wiper fluid tank would not hold fluid if they had checked the truck at all they would have had to know about this thing and should have disclosed them. That said we know we bought it as is just buyer beware they don't seem to check for these sorts of things.

Do NOT buy from Auto Masters!!! They sell used cars for triple the amount. Your job is not your credit, hey pull credit and ask about every single item ,after 3 months they sell your loans which hurts your credit even more.Even if you have poor credit there are other dealers that are willing to work with you, that don't rip you off. The auto repair department is over priced also. AGAIN Do NOT buy from Auto Masters!!!

My experience in buying the 2007 Ford F150 at Alexander has been nothing short of awful. The salesperson I dealt with did not do the math correctly on the deal sheet that I took to the bank for the loan. Not only did he not catch it, but the finance manager did not catch it when I came to pick up the truck and finish up the purchase. I thought it seemed off while I was at the bank, I called the salesman, and he confirmed that the math was correct and that I only needed to bring the money that was listed on the deal sheet. Come to find out, he was $1,000 off in his math. So, the sales manager called me asking for an extra $1,000 because of THEIR mistake. He gave me a choice to pay it or bring the truck back before they would register it. After this was finally settled, the truck has had problem after problem. I have never had a vehicle with this many major issues in my life. The service department fixed several issues, but I never received any sort of break on price on any of these. One month after I purchased this truck, the wheel bearings went bad on BOTH sides. The transmission cracked and leaked fluid, the driveshaft broke, the starter went out and had to be replaced, and now it is at yet another garage and the mechanic is not sure what is wrong with it. This truck is a complete lemon. I am over $2,000 into repairs on this truck that I purchased with 55k miles and I have still not owned it for even 1 year. I wouldn't buy another vehicle from Alexander if they were the last place on earth.
Scammed - Unsatisfied Customer
Their mechanics replace parts that don't need replacing. They charged me for a cat converter $800 that didn't need replacing. My purge valve has been bad, still is, causing my fuel gauge to read improperly and was causing a p0420 code to pop up. The mechanics at Custom auto, don't know what they are doing. Clean cars has not made me satisfied customer and I'm looking into the Attorney General Office. Do not, I repeat, do not purchase any vehicle from this place. I lost my job due to their mechanics taking over a month to fix a problem that they didnt even solve. I'm so tired of clean cars. The people there are nice but that's it. Nothing good about the cars or their mechanics. Such a bad experience for this unsatisfied customer.
I do not recommend this dealership. - jjvista
Tried to tell me that the car I was selling them had "frame damage". Obviously, I was worried and took it back to the dealer I had purchased it from (no accidents on the autocheck) and we inspected the underbelly. We could not find any damage. When I went back to Carmax for verification as to where the damage was located, a location used to anchor the vehicle for towing (previous owner had a battery die and needed it towed) scratched the anchor hole; extremely minor (smaller than a dime). I would not recommend this dealership.
Terrible - They suck
Bought a used car for 12000 first time on the HWY it started shaking bad. Took it back to their shop. They looked at it and said the tires were bad and they could put tires on for 535.00. I would have to say that their inspection of the vehicle was not done.

Spent $40K roughly with Paul C. Because he had the trucks my business needed. The first was fair. Second was 07 Dodge Ram 3500 with 5.9. Claimed AC worked and if it didn't they would repair. Long story short I'm footing the $1000 bill as we speak.

I was in need of a new vehicle back in February of 2014 and came across a vehicle listed with absolute auto. I called about the vehicle and the owner described to me and even told me he would wait on me since it would be past closing time when I arrived. I arrived and the car was exactly as advertised. I purchased the vehicle and have had no problems with it. In fact since my purchase I have purchased my wife, my son, and my mother a vehicle all from Absolute Auto. This has been the most courteous and honest used car dealership I have ever purchased from. I have also recommended them to numerous friends who were well pleased. The treatment and service is beyond what you would expect from a used car dealer. All my future purchases will be with Absolute Auto.
