A couple years ago I purchased a Subarau CrossTrek Hybrid from AJ and have been extremely impressed with the quality of service he delivers. AJ doesn't just sell you a car, he becomes your coach and advocate for any car need that arises. When I decided to downsize from the SUV to an Impreza, AJ again stepped up to listen and understand and make sure to deliver exactly the right car for me. He's always there for his cutomers.

I recently found a vehicle online and inquired about it. It took less than 30 minutes for someone to contact and get me all of the details that I asked for about the car. Two hours later I was at the dealership and when i got there all of the sales consultants were busy so I dealt with Dean Carlson. He is a fantastic Sales Manager that saw me from the beginning to the end. Very knowledgeable and very considerate. Less than an hour later I was driving my new car off the lot and headed home. That was by far the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. I will definitely be back and will always refer them to my friends and family.

Had a great experience working with Justin in buying a used Expedition. I live an 1.5 hours from the dealership and did not want to make a trip without knowing that I could get a deal close to what I wanted. I worked with Justin via email, sending pictures of my trade with descriptions. I finally made the trip after shopping at dealerships most of the day in St Louis and got to the dealership on a Sat - 1/2 before closing. Justin came through with an offer that was just as we had discussed via email.

Mangold had a used car I was interested in, but I'm from the southeast instead of IL. I explained to Rick I'd need him to carefully talk me through the car's details as he was looking at it/walking around it. He far exceeded my expectations with his patient and detailed descriptions. He even texted me photographs of the areas he was describing. It's always a little unnerving to contemplate buying a car over an extreme distance like this, but a salesperson like Rick makes all the difference. I didn't end up purchasing the car just because it wasn't up to the collector condition I was looking for. I can't say enough nice things about honest Rick was to work with, though. Had the car been what I was looking for, I would've had no hesitation working with Rick. Highly recommended.

My recent experience reminded me why. Having just moved back to town and not established a steady income yet, I took the advice of my Salesperson Keith and their Internet Specialist Sandy - and waited a couple months until I was working and settled in.
Combined with my trade in of a 2011 Ford Fiesta that was free and clear - I was able to upgrade to a 2016 Ford Fusion, with a fair price on my trade, a low down payment, lots of rebates - and ended with a payment I was comfortable with. Larry their Finance Manager is a miracle worker.
I would never shop for a Ford anywhere else.

Jimmy Howard was my sales guy. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles I was looking at and pulled them all up and had them running ready to be looked at and compared. There was no pressure at all and he let us take all the time we needed. They looked at my 2 trades and came back with pretty good numbers for everything and even gave me a great deal on the vehicle I ended up buying. I had a question about one of my trades and they brought the appraiser in and they explained everything and came to an understanding. Jimmy explained everything to me and showed me on the paper and explained every aspect of the process and where the numbers were coming from. I was even congratulated with a hand shake when they found out what my credit score was. The owner came by and introduced himself and shook my hand, which has never been done before. We were offered drinks multiple times and everyone was really nice.
*I had bought multiple vehicles from a local dealership and they were unwilling to deal with me this time so I checked online. I called and they put me through to Jimmy and he told me he wanted to earn my business, which he did from the very beginning.
I will never go to anyone else until I go to Jimmy Howard. He will always get my call first and I can't wait to do more business in the future. Also, they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need or want, and they gave me a really good deal on the extended warranty, and now I'm covered for longer than I could have ever imagined for a great price.

I have been bringing my 2011 Ford F-150 to Ford City for servicing ever since I purchased the truck in 2014. On 06/30/2016 I brought my pickup into Ford City at 7 a.m. I like the fact that no appointment is necessary and you can bring your vehicle into the service area whenever you experience a problem. Today I needed a routine oil change and tire rotation. As usual, I was greeted by a friendly attendant who was dressed professionally in a Ford City polo shirt and khaki slacks. The attendant quickly took my mileage and VIN number and pointed me toward the row of service advisors who are seated behind countertops with access to computers. I usually have Matt Odom as my service advisor, but today I had Jake who was just as friendly as Matt. I explained what I needed and showed Jake a coupon I had received in the mail from Ford City. Jake stapled the coupon to my worksheet and explained that this would ensure I would receive a discount at checkout. I waited in the spacious waiting area with free coffee, TV and comfortable seating. Within the hour Jake came to me, advised me my truck was finished and showed me a dirty air filter and asked me if I would like the air filter replaced. I felt no pressure at all and Jake made no recommendation. I opted for the new air filter and within minutes my truck was ready to go, washed and vacuumed. When I checked out, I noticed my bill did not include the discount and when I questioned the cashier, Jake overheard me and immediately came to my rescue, snatching my bill away and changing the total to reflect the $11 discount. It is this kind of service which will keep me returning to Ford City.

So I bought a car from this dealership online. After driving 600 miles to pick it up. They upped the price by 1500 dollars. After a few mins of trying to work it out I just walked out. Driving down the road the dealership the manger called saying I took the keys to the car and I needed to come back or they were calling the cops and going to have me picked up. I would have never came on here and wrote a review but the owner of the dealership just called me and started to call me names and a lair, so I hung up on him and now he started to text me. So I have screenshots of this whole thing. The names and stuff he is saying to me is crazy. The dealership is mind blowing how they treat people. All I have to say is for being a man in the military knowing these are the people I fight for I can't wait for the day I'm out of the military and not fighting for low life people like this. Don't waste your time with this stealership. All they want is your money and to waste your time.

I went to Bob Dennison already approved for a 2007 Nissan Murano SL. After arriving at the dealership I test drove the vehicle. I immediately noticed a loud noise. Upon return to the dealership it was pulled into service to determine what the noise was. I was told it had something to do with a panel pushing up against the brakes. The dealership fixed the problem, although I had to pay for the repair. Having agreed to this repair at my cost I completed the paperwork and drove off the lot. After driving less than ¼ mile to a friend’s house and showing the vehicle we discovered that the rear hatch wouldn’t lock. I immediately took the car back to Bob Dennison. It was at this time I was told that the car had not received a full inspection before placing it on the sale lot. This greatly disturbed me and now made sense why the original sound with the brakes weren’t discovered. Once they inspected the hatch it was discovered that the latch was broken they wanted to have me pay for this repair as well. At this point just to drive off the lot with simple fixes discovered they refused to repair anything, if I wanted the vehicle I’d have to pay for everything myself. At this point the car can’t be driven off the lot because of the broken hatch latch that they refused to fix.
I am very disappointed in a dealership that would place a car on the lot for sale, complete the entire sale process with financing only to discover they had not been honest about having the car inspected. Not only that they wanted me to pay for all problems associated with them not completing a thorough inspection initially.
BUYER BEWARE! If you want a dealership that is going to charge you for repairs that should have been discovered upon inspection Bob Dennison is your dealership. I was fortunate enough that I was allowed to back out of the deal! Someone else may not be as lucky!
Once my deal fell through I went to another dealership I had visited earlier in the day and purchased a Lexus RX400, with an all-around better deal. I was able to get a lower interest rate on my financing, shorter term, and an additional $3,185 on my trade-in vehicle, plus lifetime Powertrain on all their vehicles (free), did I mention GAP insurance was included and my note was only $10 more than the Bob Dennison transaction!!!
I would never purchase a vehicle from these dishonest crooks who try to pass on their neglectful mishaps to unsuspecting customers and have absolutely no problems doing so.
If you do decide to roll the dice with Bob Dennison Ford – Bloomington I’d suggest taking it to be fully inspected to ensure there’s nothing wrong with the vehicle that’s not outlined in the CarFax. They are not worth the time, headache they put customers through. BUYER BEWARE!!!
