We were on our way to Colorado (driving on I-29 near Camden Pt., MO., late aft.) when we found out that our moon roof window would not shut. We turned around and made a stop at Thoroughbred Ford in Platte City. One of the service writers there tried to close it with no luck. He checked to see if they had someone who could look at it but all their bays were full. So he recommended the service center on Barry Rd. because they had longer hours and made a call to let them know we we coming. (Kudos to Platte City as well!) When we arrived at the Barry Rd. Service Center, Andrew was the one to help us. He came out, assessed the problem (found a couple of broken parts in the track that prevented it from closing) and got it closed. Unfortunately it didn't seal. So he got some collision wrap to seal it off and we were back on the road. Andrew was so helpful and didn't hesitate In trying to remedy our problem. This was customer service at its finest! Kudos to Andrew!

I was very pleased with the auto body experience I had recently. I called American Family Insurance on Friday about 10 am after hitting a deer about 9:00 the previous evening. They contacted Pettijohn, who called me within 30 minutes to arrange towing my van to their service area. By 2:30 that afternoon, I received a call from Kayla with an estimate of the damage and asked if I wanted them to fix it. I said yes and she said that she could now order parts. She told me it would take about 9 days to complete repairs. I told her that I would need a loaner car because my husband had a doctor appointment in the city on Tuesday. She said that she would have a car ready by Monday and she did. We had a flat tire while driving and had it repaired. I called on the 8th day and Kayla said it was ready to pick up. We went to get our car and looked it over. It looked great! We went in and paid the bill and gave Kayla the bill for fixing the tire and she took it off of our total bill. We were very pleased with the fast service and friendly actions of Kayla and the service personnel.

Needed a new van for work deliveries and Warrensburg Ford had just what we were looking for on their lot. My husband called and talked with Petko who had all the paperwork ready for us by the end of the day. We didn't have to wait hours to finish the sale, we were only there for about 20 minutes. I purchased a 2016 F-150 and have brought the truck back four times for a rattle somewhere in the engine compartment. The first time they said it was a mechanical defect with the 4x4 system, another time was something with another mechanical piece. The third time, they found it was only a loose harness. That time it was fixed for a few months. It came back so I scheduled it (in advance) to be re-fixed along with getting an oil change. I took time off of work to give up my truck for the day and when I called at nearly 5pm, they hadn't even looked at my car yet! I first off, had an appointment. Second, this is the 4th visit for the same issue. I've purchased four vehicles from them but never again! When I politely discussed my concern with the service advisor, he said they were backed up and then hung up on me.

Each time I walked into the Aderson Ford dealership in St. Joe it took more than 10 minutes for someone to finally help me. My car salesman was a lot of help while I was in the process of buying my truck but now that I've got it you can tell they don't care about me or my business anymore. I've called in 3 times with questions about my truck and each time I've yet to get to talk to anyone. I love my truck, but this dealers Customer Service needs work. Definitely frustrated

I rented a 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid from Todd Hill /Tri State Ford. No problem with the rental until I turned it in and a day or two later was told I damaged the front wheel. I told em if I had to pay for the wheel I want the old one. They replaced it and I paid $760. I picked up the wheel when I came back to town however it was for a 2010 Ford Edge ($541)and I paid for a 2016 Ford Fusion ($760). You tell me did I really damage the car .??
My bankruptcy wasn't a problem - Insearchof...
It's always difficult to get financing when in a bankruptcy. There are a lot of hoops to jump through, paperwork to obtain, and then the dreaded denial. I began reaching out to multiple dealerships via the internet in order to find someone to work with me--I was willing to begin the process as early as possible to make it easier on both parties because I knew everything would take a while. I'd already dealt with one dealership in person and was greatly disappointed after working with them for two days. But when Larry Luther reached out from Blue Springs Ford, he was extremely pleasant and helpful. I made an appointment to see him right away. He and the finance team were able to set me up with a great used car and a financing company that has made things very easy to get through my bankruptcy--and at a better interest rate than I expected! I went in at 9:30am and was driving away in my "new" car before 12pm--a lot less time than I had spent at the other dealership. Definitely an easy car buying experience and a dealership I'll recommend to everyone! Thank you, Larry Luther!

Had an appointment Tues. evening 7/25/2017 to leave my 4 week old car to have back door repaired Wed .morning at their request. Took off early to get there by 6:00 pm. The gentleman at the service dept. said I would have a curtesy car there since it had to be left over night. When making the appointment we were assured there would be a car waiting. It was not. All that was said was I had to reschedule. No apology. I can only give this dept a-0 rating in service. I can't say enough about Glen Muir who sold us the car. He was excellent.

2016 Ford Taurus - Explorer2
Went to look at 3 2016 Ford Taurus's on the lot. I looked on both Cars.com and their website. The prices on 2 of the cars were around 20,335 and the 3rd one was 23,500. Went to the dealership to look at them, 1st they had to jump start the car that I wanted to drive. Once I decided on the car, we went inside to work out the deal After coming back, the price of the car went up $6000.00. I showed him the website and cars.com pricing and the salesman told me that there is no way they are going to sell those cars for that price. I showed him the same car at Shawnee Mission Ford with the same pricing on it and the excuse I got was that the person working on the website, placed the wrong prices on most of the cars. (if this was true, then why didn't you go fix the problems. This car I was looking at was the same price for 30 days). I then called back later and spoke with a sales person, who stated that the prices where correct on the internet. So this is a great bait and switch, if I ever seen one. So if you find a car with a good price, don't believe it. Can't buy it for that.

Came by tonight to look at a vehicle. Told the gentlemen that I was not planning to purchase anything today. I've looked the same vehicle about 7 years older and wanted to know if the newer vehicle justified the several thousand dollar price difference. If it did, then I may be interested. I was interrogated about how I would pay for the vehicle... Whether it would be cash, finance, etc. I replied with I have my financial situation under control. He asked how I was going to pay for the older one, told him the same thing. He then said well don't drive it then and walked away. Very unprofessional, very rude. I would NEVER in my life recommend anyone to spend a single cent at this dealership. I did not drive the vehicle and will be sure to let everyone I know of my experience.

So I go and shop for a car with my daughter we work out the deal and the monthly payment, then I had to go as she heads to the finance guy to fill out the final paperwork, then they tell her they have a problem with the loan and they need to add gap insurance and the platinum warranty to it so she can get the car, now the price goes from 197 to 270!
This place can not be trusted!
2nd time I have had problems with this place, but I like to try and buy local, so I gave them a 2nd chance. Never again will this place get my or anyone I knows business.
Time to see if this is even a legal for them to require a warranty and gap insurance to get a loan!

This was my first experience with this dealer. I was greeted by a sales consultant almost immediately. I told him I had done my homework and wanted to test drive a specific preowned vehicle, which he arranged in no time. Upon my return, we started the negotiations and was very pleased by his low-pressure attitude and willingness to work with me. He lowered the price on a vehicle that was already a bargain, authorized brake work my mechanic had recommended be done before I bought, searched for little extras I asked for. Had the car paid for, brake work done and title in hand within four hours of walking onto lot. Seemingly honest, very efficient and helpful.
