John and the whole Bale team made such an impact on our car buying experience that we will NEVER go to another dealership other than Bale. John was an exceptional salesman, with such good character and morals. He is the BEST salesman, and we are so blessed to be able to say we bought the vehicle of our dreams because he made it happen along with the whole Bale team. We never met an unfriendly face, and we were treated as if we were family. Everyone was so transparent, friendly, and it made the whole atmosphere of the dealership such a joy to be there. Chris, the finance manager, was so helpful, and not pushy like most financial managers can be. He was so informative, and has a great personality. Drove a hour to get to this place to see and hopefully buy a car. The salesman that we spoke with on the phone was in the building but would not come out and speak with us. Instead another salesman did. To top it off the car that was overpriced we was looking at had no AC when we test drove and the sunroof did not work. Would not recommend this place.

Bud Gentry is a crook with zero conscience! My 80 yo mother bought a car from him that, he did not disclose, had been wrecked. When I took it for service it sat for 11 months on the lot (waiting for a headlight assembly) I fought with Bud and GM for 4 years over a headlight issue that 3 different mechanics at Genrty's couldn't fix. Took the rig to Nashville, to York Gary last month. After 4 years of fighting, not being able to drive the car and 3 headlights, York Gary called me the very same day with the results of their inspection of the headlight issue... The ground wire was not connected! Gentry's is absolutely incompetent and will never see another dime from me or my family.

Natasha made my appointment for my new Equinox using the mychevrolet app on my phone. When I arrived, she had all my paperwork printed off and ready to go. I was immediately taken care of and in and out in no time. Natasha was very helpful and friendly. The whole experience was great from start to finish!

We bought a used 2021 Tahoe from the Chevrolet dealer. Decent vehicle for the price (couple of small scratches and it needed tires at 40K miles, making me think they swapped tires with another vehicle because none of the tires matched). The listing was incorrect on the mileage because the sales manager took it on a 2K mile demo. They didn’t adjust the price for that. Not a big deal though. Turns out it has a chronic problem with the door locks and’s other BCM aspects of the system, and neither driver door would lock. Not a big deal, right? You would think the sales manager that had it on demo would’ve made sure they fixed it as that is a NHTSA recognized safety device, meaning it technically should’ve been sold as wholesale. Whatever, we move on from that because it’s not worth the hassle and we just want it fixed. We bought the extended warranty with it. I’m back at the dealer the next day. We get it fixed after a couple of visits. I admittedly did not research the car fax, like an idiot, and it turns out that the door lock actuators and body control module were swapped multiple times. We made sure they were aware of that and pleaded to do more than just change the actuators. They insisted that they “have to do that step first”. Whatever. We pay the $100 fee and all is well. We’re still happy with the truck. The next trip down is for its first oil change in our ownership of the truck. It only came with one key. Part of the extended service contract we bought was key replacement. We asked about this during the “deal negotiation” and the finance manager said that we can come back after 30 days (once the contract is in effect) and order another key under that contract. Well, you guessed it, that was a bold lie. We are stuck paying full price for a spare key that we were told would be covered but it wasn’t, now with that being said we called up there talked to someone was told yes it’s covered and they would have the key ready when we bring it in for a oil change…. It wasn’t ready and they couldn’t give us an explanation on why it wasn’t covered. Just don’t believe anything they tell you while buying a car they don’t keep there word on anything. I’m aware that we should’ve been more vigilant and researched all of this prior to buying it. After looking for a decently priced Tahoe for over a year, something should’ve gave warning signals that we were about to get duped. We signed a paper that said “no promises made, no promises kept unless it’s on paper”, so trying to get them to at least cover the door locks and keys was futile. We’re still keeping the truck, we absolutely love it. But for the love of God please go somewhere else if you’re seriously looking to buy. This is yet another example of a dealer cutting corners to save money. We will never do business with any Southwest Auto Collection dealer again. That’s sad too because, aside from this, they have been excellent.

My experience with the service department at Karl Malone Toyota has been extremely disappointing. I purchased my 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander brand new, and before reaching 36,000 miles, it required recall/warranty work related to axle issues. While I understand recalls happen and parts delays can occur, the complete lack of communication throughout this process has been unacceptable. My vehicle has been in their service department multiple times and for multiple days at a time. Unfortunately, I was rarely given updates unless I called myself. There were no proactive calls regarding delays, parts availability, vehicle status, or even when the vehicle was ready to be picked up. Instead, I repeatedly heard: “I’m sorry.” “That’s not my fault.” “We can’t control it.” At some point, those responses stop feeling like customer service and start feeling like excuses. The mechanical issue itself is frustrating, but the communication and customer care are what made this experience so disappointing. In over 45 years of owning vehicles, this has honestly been the worst service department experience I have ever had. At this point, unless I absolutely have to return for Toyota recall or warranty work, I will choose to take my business elsewhere. I would gladly pay more for better communication, professionalism, and customer service. I hope management takes these concerns seriously because no customer who purchases a brand-new vehicle should have this type of experience.
