My service advisor larry was able to get my car in early - MRMANCE
My service advisor larry was able to get my car in early than the online appointment, he ask me what was my problem with my Cadillac srx, larry took notes and informed me diagnostic service will take time, at $197 an hour. “ I bought a after market ECM and my car wouldn’t start, and I replaced two o2 sensor and a crankshaft sensor on my on before I replaced my aftermarket ECM, since my scan tool had those codes coming up along with no communication with ECM. Now with my used ECM I was getting code p0192 fuel rail system bad, and p0315 crankshaft sensor not learned. “ I ask for a diagnostic and possible flush and reprogram. After $690 in diagnostics, I was told I had a bad ECM they can’t reprogram it, and I need the dealership ECU for about $795 and $295 in reprograming along with the $695 for diagnostic they performed, I did confirm extra hours because the technician needed more time to do diagnostic. I complained I should’ve have pay for the diagnostics, how long does it take to find out that a ECM is bad, larry was willing to work with me and take the tax off the final price $1,800. I would go back to larry for service, he just need to be more informative and take time to explain in more detail what the technician is saying, so I can understand the charges.
