After years of going to Harbor, I tried two closer dealerships (one on the westside with poor service, and another in the SGV with a shockingly high quote). Harbor not only provided great service but also completed the job at half the cost of the other quotes (special thanks to Rodrigo Santizo). It's hard to understand why other dealerships can't offer the same value. The extra 30-minute drive was absolutely worth it. If Harbor had a location closer to me, I'd gladly give them six stars! Oh, and if the service manager is reading this, bring back shuttle service if you can. I just needed a ride to go see a friend who lived in the area!

Sam Macuk is the guy you should see if you go here. Very kind, courteous, and didn't make me feel like a "stupid woman" driver like the first guy (who shall be nameless) did. After dealing with the first guy being rude just because I didn't get my oil changed at exactly the time the manual says I should (on my very low mileage car) and then telling me i had to leave my car for 2-3 days just to get a diagnosis on a code (not true), it was refreshing to finally talk to somebody who knew something about customer service and how to go the extra mile to help people. Sam understands that a little effort goes a long way and makes people remember you and ask for you again. Thanks Sam!

Dealership provided the 20k service complimentary since I had recently purchased the car used and there was not a record of it being performed. ETA for inspection was accurate. Was checked in right away. Waiting area/snacks was sufficient. Did not address all of my concerns outside of the basic inspection I asked about having a 3rd key made in order to access the Volvo app or if there was another way to access it so I’m unable to use all the features. Also, there was 1 tire that was more worn than the others but still had about 10k of tread left according to tire centers. Volvo keeps attempting to contact due to a “declined repair” which isn’t even necessary.

My Outback became inoperable due to a faulty thermal sensor & I had to get it towed to the Summet Subaru in El Cajon. The repair was under warranty & there was no charge to me for the repair. The only cost to me was for the tow charge & thanks to the staff at Summit contacting Subaru of America, Subaru agreed to help absorb some of the towing cost due to the unusual circumstance of the distance involved. The vehicle was repaired within a day & Sam kept me informed of the progress from beginning to end. Madison kept me informed of her initial communications with Subaru of America which I feel was instrumental in Subaru offering in assist me. I have nothing but gratitude & praise for Summit & Subaru. The service could not have been any better.

Exceptional Service at Swickard Thousand Acura I am writing to formally express my gratitude and commend the outstanding service provided by the team at Swickard Thousand Oaks Acura, particularly the management and service staff, in resolving a significant issue with my Acura vehicle, which I purchased from the previous dealership Henderson Acura, three years ago. At the time of purchase, I acquired an extended five-year warranty, for which I paid a substantial additional amount separate from the vehicle’s cost. Regrettably, I was never informed by the previous dealership, Anderson, Acura that the dealership had been sold to new ownership. More critically, Anderson failed to transfer or communicate the details of my extended warranty to the new owners of Swickard Thousand Oaks Acura. As a result, when I brought my vehicle in for repairs, there was no record of my warranty in the system, despite having paid thousands of dollars for this coverage. I wish to emphasize that the team at Swickard Thousand Oaks Acura, under the leadership of your manager, demonstrated exceptional professionalism, diligence, and courtesy in addressing this matter. They went above and beyond to locate and verify my extended warranty, ultimately completing the necessary repairs on my vehicle at no cost to me. I was informed by another dealership that these repairs would have likely cost me at least $4,000 out of pocket. The efforts of your team not only saved me significant expense but also restored my confidence in your dealership’s commitment to customer satisfaction. I must, however, express my profound disappointment with the unprofessional conduct of the previous dealership, Anderson, whose failure to properly document and transfer my warranty information created this unnecessary complication. Such oversight is unacceptable and reflects poorly on their operational standards. In contrast, I wholeheartedly commend Swickard Thousand Oaks Acura for exemplary service, integrity, and dedication to resolving this matter.
