Great Service team! My family was stuck in town with a dead vehicle on our vacation travel home day. Trey and the GM service tech (sorry never learned his name) were able to squeeze us in on a Saturday morning and replaced the starter motor. In and out of the dealership in under 3 hours. The service department at Jim Browne Chevrolet GMC in Dade City were terrific to deal with. They replaced the windshield and repaired paint defects on the vehicle I purchased. They also replaced all the locking hub nuts and repaired a leaky tire. They were extremely responsive and repaired the vehicle without hesitation. I will take all my vehicles to Jim Browne for service given the attention they paid us. They provided the best customer service!

Edited review 5/31/25-General Manager Aleesa reached out to me directly. Arranged an appt and provided a car to drive while services being done. She was incredibly helpful and showed that this dealership really takes care of their customers. Made an Appointment weeks in advance to have my oil changed. I arrived at my scheduled time of 10am. Told the service advisor I was going to Walmart and i’d be backed as I had a birthday party to attend at 1pm. I retuned at noon only to find that my car had not been touched. 2 hours after my scheduled appointment my car was still sitting in the parking lot. I’m a super busy person and taking the time to drop off my car took advance planning. Ben the service advisor acted like it was my fault because I wasn’t able to leave my car there for 8 hours (all day) to have a simple oil change. I left with no oil change. Funny that this was the free maintenance Chevy offers. That’s one way to not stand by your promise, make it impossible to get the service done. I need to add that a year later I’m still trying to get my 2nd key that should have been given to me the day I bought the Car in June 2024. I guess it takes 6 months to order a replacement key that the dealership could not find. Needless to say avoid avoid avoid!

I came out yesterday, September 2nd for just a checkup of my car. I had a few concerns to include brakes, clutch and the air conditioning. When I arrived at the dealership I had a working charging system. I had no concerns about the charging system at all to include the battery. I came to pick up the card approximately 5:00 p.m. on the 2nd all work have been complete. There was body damage to the side skirt underneath the driver side door. I spoke to Nick Alvarez, the service manager. I took pictures of the damage while in the drop off area to get my vehicle. I also made a video. Nick said that he would get this fixed. Did not take any pictures or fill out any paperwork and let me leave. I decided to take a video in front of the dealership. I then left. I have a 18-minute drive home at approximately 9-10 minute Mark. I got an alert for the voltage being low. I then had to limp home cuz I could not turn back around. I made it home and verified my charging system. The battery at stop was 12.39 volts. While the car was running it was 11.89 volts. The charging system is not charging the battery. The car is running off battery voltage. The belt is attached. On my paperwork. A battery test was conducted. The battery and alternator was working fine before I dropped off the vehicle. I went today, September 3rd. Spoke to Tony and the service manager. They both said that this was a coincidence. And they would not cover repairs. Although I did not have any concerns of any kind of charging problem before. They want me to pay for diagnostics and the alternator. Once again. There was no damage to the body and no damage to the charging system before I dropped off the vehicle. Now I am stuck without a vehicle. I am a single father of three kids that live with me 100% of the time. I'm currently going to have to start paying for rental car fees because of the damage done at the dealership. There was never any concerns on my invoice of charging problems but the service manager wants to say that this is just a coincidence

I was told online 800 down I get there about a hour in it changes to 1400 down then 2 hrs in they take my check stubs from me to make copies and when the salesman returns he tells me the owner said I can put 2000 down so if I want the car I need to come up with more money...by now I have already paid for the insurance and the tax tag and title and just about to pay the down payment...the worst thing of all I paid uber 70 dollars to get there and I had to pay another 124 to get home after being there for 4 hours and not getting a car. I am so disappointed and now I have to wait another 2 weeks to try some where else cause of all the money spent on uber's.

Will never go back. I took my truck in for a simple oil change, and tire rotation. I knew that is was going to be bad when I had to argue with the service writer. He argued that my engine took 8 quarts of oil, then I told him to only put 6 qts in it. He continued to argue about it. Obviously he has no idea, what he’s doing. Then he comes to me and tells me that 2 wheel studs broke off, it will cost $200 more, and it will be done in an hour. I told him NO, I will fix it, just give me the lug nuts( special for the rims), and I would drill out the broken stud out of the nut. He hands them to me, there is nothing in them, and no rust at all. What happened is they put the nuts back on with an impact wrench. It states “do not use an impact wrench on these rims”. And he had xxxxx enough to tell me that they didn’t use an impact on them. I watched them through the window. Since the Alan Jay Dealerships have been sold. The new owners have let them all go to xxxx. Former mechanics, have said it’s horrible there. LIKE I SAID, I WONT BE BACK, IM EVEN THINKING ABOUT TRADING THIS IN, and BUYING A DIFFERENT BRAND. DO NOT GO TO THE ALAN JAY SERVICE DEPARTMENTS.

Rating because of customer service. Upon returning to body shop because of loud scraping at my bumper area, All it would've taken would've been "sorry, we forgot to tighten up the plastic shield." Instead he insinuated I must have hit something on the way home. Wouldn't go back if future needs of body work.
