I bought a car from these people, sold it canceled the gap insurance a month or so later. This was all within a 5 month period. 3 months later still no refund, they do not return calls. THIS PLACE IS A HUGE RIP OFF - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. I have reported them to the BBB the next place I am going is to every single news station that will listen to my story about how they are horrible to their customers.

Dan Schalk in the last week-Edit Zero stars! Long review but a MUST READ! Was sold a Ford Freestyle with bad transmission off the lot after being assured the noise was nothing to worry about. Salesman said "its like a truck, the CVT trans are a bit loud - We sell great cars never any complaints" - Come to find out later this was his FIRST sale! This was only 11 days ago. Florida has no lemon laws. The car has only 78,000 mi. Days ago I looked into the "helicopter" noise in P and N after parking next to the SAME car and not hearing the noise from that car! I asked the owner about it and was sadly informed MY trans is on it's way out! NO WAY? I went home VERY CONCERNED and looked on the internet about this car. My heart sunk. He was dead right! I WAS LIED TO AT THE DEALER! MISLEAD! ALL OVER THE INTERNET it's a KNOWN issue! I test drove another car different dealer, same noise and the dealer admitted it's the trans but said they never noticed it "sorry pal" - So THEY KNEW most likely for sure as they had my car unsold for 8 months! I have reason to believe I was purposefully mislead so they could FINALLY unload their known LEMON. No disclosure when asked how long the car had been on lot. Never dreamed 8 months! SURELY it had been test driven by many more car savvy folks who asked about the "noise" - They DID NOT want me to take it to my mech (excuses) but he was not at all familiar with the CVT trans anyway and agreed that IF it was like a Ford truck as the sales guy had stated it's not a huge issue, he can fix it. Newsflash! NOT TRUCK LIKE AT ALL! NEXT LEMON, INC surely knew the trans was going. Someone did. If not everyone. Car is in good shape minus the trans but is worth only 5800 KBB running. After repair/replacement we will be into this car for over $11G's! My wife and my family have been torched by this. Deceitful, dishonest, rude and condescending. The salesman was not but he DID mislead us and truly knew NOTHING about the car or the dealer as he had only been there ONE day! We should have walked 100 times but we looked at each other and said "Can this be? If they are THIS rude and STILL have business then they MUST be doing something right? I understand that as is is just that "as is" - But I can now pick apart the lies and deceit we were fed by the bucket. I can tell you why there was no trans prob on the carfax. Hindsight is 20/20. They will BURN you. This car was on the lot so long they HAD to KNOW! Taking car to Ford dealers to get estimates on trans repair. If not acceptable I will demonstrate in front of Next Car, Inc. until I feel satisfied that I've figuratively warned lots of peeps about their dishonest, deceitful tactics. Planning to have news media on this as well! We've had the car for only 11 days and have not drove it much for fear of making it worse. Not even made first payment. This has ruined my families summer. Next Car Knows they ripped us. They are happy to screw you and super proud I'm sure when they pass on their "bad buys" to the citizenry at grossly large profits. Rather than weeding cars out that are OBVIOUSLY on the fritz. They can in fact return their "bad buy" lemons BACK to the auction for FULL refunds if they choose - but they never do. It's passed onto you while you are being looked in the eye and told "We are Family oriented" -"We just want to make people happy" and "We don't haggle because we sell fine cars". Blah blah blah blah... Ask the condescending owner about the vehicle noise and your concern and get told "you can leave if you want... We sell quality cars"... So arrogant his arrogance fooled us. Now this - NEXT LEMON, INC. on BIG lemon pickets. We'll be there EVERY Saturday MINIMUM with our signs, lemon car, crew and kids until we're satisfied you feel the burn we have. To us 11,000 dollars is a TON of money for a 5000 dollar car... That's a lot of loss to endure from a dishonest man. Will NEXT LEMON morally and ethically meet me in the middle somewhere? Maybe I'd change my tune a little.The car has clonked out on us 4 times as well bucking wildly. Not safe AT ALL and was not safe BEFORE we ever drove it!

Sold us truck with wrong battery and bad headlight - jipthomas

Bought a 2009 Tacoma extended cab with 92k miles for almost $19k in August 2012 and these people coincidentally forgot to mention that the battery was replaced on this truck with one that was the wrong size. At 102k miles the battery died unexpectedly, so we took it to AutoZone and after checking it for us they gave us the bad news: the original battery had been replaced with one that was too small for this size truck and thus wasn't recharging properly. They also sold the truck to us with a bad headlight that needed to be replaced without pointing it out to us. This was our first car-buying experience (which they knew) so we didn't notice that until after the purchase. We asked if anything was wrong with the truck or needed to be replaced and they said no, that the truck was in perfect condition. We drove all the way from Tampa (which they also knew) and paid in full (which, again, they knew we were going to do). Yet, rather than appreciate our business, they took advantage of us instead. We do not recommend them in the least. These are sneaky, misleading and deceitful people who could've been up front about these things to us but chose not to. Let's see what else winds up going wrong.

When we telephoned the manager was quite friendly, cooperative and very informative. We were at 99% on closing the deal when they pulled out their greasy (aka pushy) financial manager. He treated us like mathmatically challenged idiots and practically chased after us as we were leaving, begging us to put some money down for him to 'hold' this vehicle so we wouldn't lose it to another customer by the next morning (we told him we had to think it over). Essentially, the first salesman left when he saw we knew what we wanted and were somewhat saavy. This other guy, after knocking off the "$200 warranty" charge AND we offered an additional $500 down (total of $1500), came back and knocked our monthly payments down by a total of.........$2. Yes, I typed that correctly, 2 whole dollars a month, a grand total of $24 a year compared to what was an additional $700 from us. Who would walk away from that??? It was very sad, even traumatic, since we felt we had found the perfect car at a perfect price.

So make sure they give you some sort of Warranty on yr Car if not do not buy unless you want to me screwed over by another Dealer!!

Ritchie and Mike are awesome, straight up and helpful. Stayed late to get us a new Ford, when other places wanted to buy here pay her on junk. Where to start. Limited selection of vehicles. Felt like I was being watched like a hawk as I walked around the lot. Told countless employees to leave me alone and let me look, but they wouldn't. Sales managers kept pushing extra products on me, even after I had declined them. Not just once, but multiple times. Even tried to show me payments at first with all those items "packed" in, which is illegal. Vehicles have questionable quality.....2 of 3 vehicles I got into to test drive had dead batteries. Some guy from Toyota down the street (apparently they were connected through Coggin) started bothering me on the lot. I told him I didn't want to buy a new Toyota, but he wouldn't let up. Kept asking for my contact information. They didn't want me to leave without multiple emails and phone #'s. Then proceeded to blow up my phone and email for two weeks until I called and filed a complaint. This location closed, and I'm not surprised in the least. Don't bother with the ones on the west coast of Florida either. Bad business, bad cars, just bad overall.

These are the shadiest most crooked people on the face of the Earth! They tell you they check all their cars but they don't. I bought a car from them three months ago and have not been able to drive it since the day I bought it. The car has been brought back five times and each time they told me they fixed it and to come pick it up I live a mile away from their business and never once made it all the way home in the five times that I've called them. 1 time after they told me the car was fixed and to pick it up I got stuck in the middle of a busy intersection and was almost killed! I couldn't move the car from the intersection and angry people were yelling and screaming at me. A nice man finally helped me push the car out of the intersection to a safe place. The owner of this establishment is a horrible Shady person and only gives a xxxx about money and moving his garbage cars off his lot he does not care about his customers or that he sells dangerous vehicles to the public. Please drive by as fast as you can and do not stop at this place you will be sorry. I plan to tell everyone I know about this Shady business. I have to rate them a one star only because there is no 0 rating and that's the lowest I can go but truthfully even if I could rate them a zero it would still be too good for them

Recently purchased a vehicle from Smart Choice Autos. Great Service and honest folks. Dealt with Javier, who was outstanding. He arranged financing for me, when I couldn't obtain it elsewhere. Vehicle was in outstanding condition and they even did some preventative maintenance on it, when I didn't even ask. The store is owned by retired military, and it shows! I would recommend them to anyone! They treated me with respect and understanding. Since I bought the vehicle, I haven't had any problems with it. And, any question that I needed answered, they did so immediately.

I bought a car from them many years ago and had nothing but issues with it also was not told that the car was in a previous accident. They say thier cars are certified with this bs warrenty but don't be fooled cause doesn't cover dick, but only jacks the car price higher. So to everyone wanting to by a car please do not go there cause they will rip you off.
