It’s been frustrating since I purchased my jeep grand Cherokee as after less then one day, there was a computer error causing the emergency collision brakes to disengage. I brought the vehicle back and was told a simple computer update would fix the issue by a manager. After a week of no contact, I went in and the service representative told me that the issue had to be escalated to star case but my vehicle couldn’t be returned in the meantime due to it being a “safety issue”. A few days after no contact, I informed the sales representative who has tried to be helpful that I would be coming to get my vehicle without it being fixed as a new wiring harness/connector had to be ordered now. I understand the CDK issue that happened and that issues can happen but the lack of communication and transparency has been frustrating as I will have to bring the vehicle back for the repair at a later date.

I was able to get a service appointment within a couple days and got me in quickly when I got there. They fixed my brake issue and a recall I hadn't expected being able to get done during the appointment. I'll be back for my next services.

Well, we bought our 2021 Suburban in June, and the check engine light was on, but it would not stay on, and we were told the dealership would look at it and fix the issue prior to us buying it. It was there to be detailed over the weekend and we signed papers on a Monday. When we picked it up from being detailed the license plates were destroyed front and back from the pressure washer. The check engine light was off, we asked the salesman what was wrong, and we were told it was not on and that they wanted to wait until our "extended warranty" kicked in to address. We now know this is so the dealership would not have to front the costs. Long story short beginning of January the light came on and stayed on as we were told they could only check it if the light stayed on as it was sporadically on prior. They pick up my car, they do not leave me a driver...this is a Friday... my husband is called that afternoon and told we need brakes and rotors, and this was $800. We said no we will wait as we are already paying for tires to be rotated, oil change....and the diagnostic that the warranty didn't cover as well as the copay for the extended warranty. We explained what we had been told numerous times this would be taken care of by the dealership, and we got the excuse well that salesman shouldn't have been telling people that. There were no attempts to meet us in the middle, to even attempt to make it right, we were bamboozled. So as of Friday night, we have no vehicle and we get a call Saturday at around 2pm, that they still are not sure what exactly is wrong but that the suburban is undrivable, and that the GM tech will be off until Tuesday. Therefore, we were without a vehicle to get to and from work until it was fixed. Meanwhile they get the vehicle fixed and the driver returning the car, hits a "rock" and flattens our tires we had purchased less than 6 weeks ago requiring a patch to be placed, therefore they want to keep our vehicle another night, we tell them no fix the tire and we are coming to pick it up. We get there around 6pm and they cannot find the key. Finally, it is found after 30 minutes of waiting and then there is no receipt. Its printed and we leave... the engine is still making a squealing noise. We get home and review the receipt with recommendations, and it says we need FRONT BRAKE PADS AND A SERPETINE BELT!!!!!! NOT BRAKES AND ROTARS. This entire process has been a nightmare, this is the third vehicle we have purchased here and will most likely never return after these issues. I don't care that YOUR salesperson shouldn't have said that I feel like someone should've tried to offer a discount or meet us in the middle. I also feel like when you call to tell someone their vehicle needs something you should know exactly what it is and a price and you're insane if you think brake pads on fronts and a serpentine belt are 800. Again NIGHTMARE.

I moved to the area in 2020, and started servicing my Charger at Fields. They were great! Friendly, fast, always fixed the first time. If the car ever needed to stay more than a day, I always got a loaner, or at least a quick shuttle over to Enterprise, complimentary. But late 2022, early 2023, things started to change. Communication with them plummeted. I'd have to constantly call them to even find out if my car was done. It took them 3 times to finally fix my water pump. (I did water pumps in high school, shouldn't be that hard). In the Fall of 2023, I was ready to shop for a Jeep product, and decided to check out Fields. I was walking around in there for at least 15min, and nobody even bothered to come say Hi. I was clearly "shopping." After that I left, and bought a Grand Cherokee elsewhere. In early 2024, the Grand Cherokee had some recalls come through. I took it to Fields since they're the closest, and I got a whole bunch of attitude for "not buying the car from them" but they'll take care of the recall anyway because it's a factory safety issue. According to Jeep Wave, I should get a loaner, since they needed to keep the car all day. I asked about a rental then from Enterprise, and with much attitude they said "fine, we'll drive you over there, but we need to authorize it first. If it's not authorized, the rental is on your own dime." Of course it was authorized by FCA but it took Enterprise forever to get the ok. Even the Enterprise manager said that Field's has been particularly difficult to deal with the past couple years. What a miserable dealership. It's really too bad, they used to be great. I'm never going there again nor will think of purchasing from them.

Auburn paired my new cell phone in seconds and also explained how to take my key apart so I could leave a key with some one and yet they could not drive it. I recently bought a Dodge Charger Hellcat at another dealership out of state. It unfortunately had a ton of issues with it when I received it. I took it to Auffenberg Dodge Jeep in Shiloh to have them address all the problems. Mike Reed and his team of service reps worked hard to help me get compensation from the dealership that sold me the vehicle. The mechanic (Ron) working on my HC is honestly the best around. Simply put, he knows his "stuff"! Thank you Ron! Mike Reed, Thank you! Without you, this would have been a nightmare that never ended. I honestly appreciate everything you did for me.
