i have a 2005 chevy silverado 2500LT 4x4 that i love very much. i have had issues with rust at the bottom of all the doors. each time i took my truck to Salem autobody super center that Jeff or Johnny always were very friendly and professional to me, and made me feel more than just a customer. each time the work was impeccable and done with professionalism. the last incident in November 2011 the left rear door had to be replaced and the job that was done matching the paint on a 5 year old truck was perfect, job was done in a very timely manner, and i believe Mr. Jones has done a very good job by having Jeff and Johnny handling the autobody super center. also here in October i had explained to them that their service manager in Corydon had been very rude and was not willing to take care of me with a speedometer problem, which actually had a previous recall, and was told their was nothing he could do to help. Jeff from the autobody super center advise me to speak with the service manager at Salem super center, and the issue with the speedometer was taken care with Chevrolet paying for parts, and me paying the labor which was a very fair arrangement. i met two wonderful service advisors in Salem, Don Skaggs, and Monty Ball. Upon taking care of the speedometer, they performed a 27 point inspection and it was found that there were some agressive issues that needed to be addressed immediately. Monty had quoted all the parts and labor to an exact dollar amount for all of the repairs to be completed, giving me a very fair quote. I set up an appointment and took in my truck and had the work completed. Which Ricky, one of the service techs., did an outstanding job on the repairs. After completion of the repairs, Salem employees were kind enough to wash my truck for free, and I will definitely be returning to have additional service work completed in the near future. I also want to personally thank Bob Hunt, service manager, for his assistance in making sure that the repairs were completed correctly and promptly, and as a former mechanic I have dealt with many dealerships and found that this dealership goes above and beyond to make sure their customers are completed satisfied. I have purchased 3 new vehicles from John Jones, and in the near future I will be purchasing another from them. All my service work will continue to be completed by the Salem service center. To have a 3% charge for using a bank card on a job that is well over $1k is absurd. I can see for smaller amounts, but it didn’t cost you over $37 to take money out of my bank account via debit card. You made money off of a service that isn’t even your proprietary service.

We stopped in to have our 2014 Verano serviced and we walked through the showroom while we were waiting. Two hours later we drove away with a new 2016 Buick Encore. We are from the Jasper area but now live full time in Florida. We have been buying vehicles from Bob Luegers Motors for close to 50 years and it is hard to break a good habit.

It was a pleasant experience dealing with our salesman, Derek Moore, and to have the Sales Manager, Nick Bosak, introduce himself to us. There will always be some tense moments as the wheeling and dealing moves forward and especially coming to acceptable trade-in value and price of vehicle in closing. Having just purchased our new 2024 KIA Sportage PHEV in Vista Blue exterior and Black leather-like interior is gorgeous to us. Even a staff member from the Service Department came to us and introduced themselves and helped clarify the new vehicles oil change frequency. If zero is terrible to 10 extremely satisfied. I would give a rating of 10+ to Bosak KIA dealership located in Burns Harbor, Indiana. One thing to know about the KIA warranty it is not a full five-year / 60,000 mile warranty that was expected. It is 3-year / 36,000 miles warranty and modifies upto more limited warranty coverage of 5-year / 60,000 miles. Plus, there is more warranty coverage for roadside assistance, powertrain and PHEV components as well. So far we love the vehicle and does exactly what our salesman explained, but must say there is more to learning a PHEV vehicle. If you plan on buying a PHEV or All Electric make sure you get a 220 volt charger. The charger that comes with the vehicle is dedicated to 110 Volt and to fully charge the battery from 1-mile to 34-miles (battery size is 13.8 Kwh) took 22-hours. If used a 220 Volt charger takes 2 to 3-hours. My wife and I highly recommend this dealership and it's staff.
