Transmission issues a month after buying a van. No help fixing the problem. Pretty sure there was an issue before I bought it that they knew about. Will not be going to them again and wouldnt want anyone I know to go there. New transmission is around 6800. Not very happy at all

I dealt with Robert for the entire process, and he was professional and responsive through the whole process. World Class worked with me on price, some work it needed after a third party inspection, and transportation from Indiana to Massachusetts. They went above and beyond for a customer they never met in person. It’s been an amazing experience.

I was extremely interested in purchasing a Nissan Altima that Perigo had on the lot. Jerry told me there would be no problem taking the car to my mechanic in Lafayette. In fact, he said, "We have nothing to hide." I arranged to take the car to the mechanic on Friday morning. When I called Jerry back at Perigo to let him know that my mechanic was available, he suddenly wanted a $100 non-refundable deposit to take the car to Lafayette to the mechanic. I do not understand the nonsense. No other dealer wants $100 for me to take a car to MY mechanic, who I PAY for any inspection. I am left believing that something was wrong with the car and that my top-knotch mechanic would have found the problem and told me not to buy the Altima. I'm glad there are other dealers around who have honest reputations and will let me take any car on their lots to my mechanic prior to making a purchase. Everyone should be able to do this. I got nothing but nonsense from Perigo once I expressed interest in the Altima, and I already had financing approved with a local Lafayette bank. DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS DEALER! By the way, I have impeccable credit and have never had any accident and MY insurance company, Erie, would cover driving that car to/from the mechanic. The only answer Jerry gave for the nonsense was that IF I took the car off their lot it would prevent other buyers from seeing the car. I'm certain they are flooded with people at 7:30 a.m. wanting to see their cars. The car was to be gone for under one hour. So....if anyone out there wants the Altima, it is still on Perigo's lot where it should remain because you won't be allowed to have a mechanic look at the car unless you plan to waste $100 of your money with Perigo and pay your mechanic too!

STAY AWAY! Avoid this place! There were many missing fuses that kept several warning lights from displaying in the test drive. We didn't discover this until after purchasing the vehicle. They would not take it back. We were naive but they are DISHONORABLE. We are having to resell for the actual value of this car, which is thousands less than we paid for it. May their karma find them swiftly. Also, I understand they have a second lot in Indy. I don't know the name but would stay away from there too.

This place is an absolute NIGHTMARE to deal with! Especially Tina!! We voluntarily returned our car after spending an additional $900 on extra repairs..We had problems with this car from day 2! It was always something and Steve couldn't have cared less! Told us it was not his problem. Tina is a bully! And though weeks have past since we returned that car- Tina still has her nerve to send my wife a facebook messages telling her shes suing us so get ready?? Pitiful.

The WORST. Sold us a car with a bad head gasket. They claimed they "fixed it". They also talked me into extended warranty and gap insurance. I thought I had done my due diligence. A few days ago the vehicle broke down and I took it somewhere else. Yup, it's the head gasket. We have only had the car 6 months and now have a car we still have to pay a loan on, plus a 5k-7k repair, which we cannot afford. We had the car there 2 weeks ago because it would not start. They claimed there "was nothing wrong with it". They knew damned well that car had a bad head gasket and they sold it to a young girl anyway. Biggest xxxxxxxx out there.

I was looking at a hummer h2 and I explained to the dealership I wqs traveling 400 miles to come get it. They went to great lengths to make sure I reviewed the vehicle from every angle. They took additional photos...they zoomed in on little corks if the car...they offered to shoot a video...they answered almost 100 questions. They are as honest as can be and invest a lot of time to earn your business. It turned out that I went with a different vehicle somewhere else (just in better shape) and they still thanked me for considering their vehicle. Brent was the salesman and you can definitely shop here with confidence. Thank you for all your help.

The experience was good and so were the people, the service, on the other hand, was terrible for the simple reason. I had my car inspected at the Dealership but the garage I bought the car from was not going to pay that price so I had to find another garage (Carlton Motors). The dealership said that my brake discs had issues and should be replaced were Carlton Motors said they are fine. Everything else was fixed and paid by the garage I have purchased the car from. Fast forward a week later I started hearing squeaky coming from the outside and I knew it must be the brakes. Called Carlton Motors and booked the car in again and this time they said that it is because of the brake discs but it should pass. This was almost over 3 months ago. Now I have to pay for them because the garage won't pay for something that I might've messed up even though Carlton Motors should've replaced them instead of assuming they are ok.

Update: Dealer did send us a check for the repair. Thank you. They are under new management. Changed from 1 star to 3. Buyer Beware. Dealership does not follow through on obligations. I purchased a Toyota Tacoma online from Carmel Motors and the dealer shipped the vehicle as part of the purchase price. The vehicle arrived unannounced with a dead battery and a smashed windshield. While the dealer did purchase a new battery for us through AutoZone, the windshield replacement has been a different story. The delivery driver did not speak English very well and claimed the windshield was smashed by individuals "molesting" him at a rest stop. He offered cash to my wife for the windshield. While apologetic to what happened, he was clearly trying to complete the delivery and go quickly. Uncomfortable with the situation, my wife accepted an amount that was half of the replacement cost of the windshield. The dealership at first appeared to want to work with me on a resolution by getting the shipper to pay the difference, but stopped pursuing a resolution with them and stated they were filing a claim with their own insurance co. That was 6-Sept 2023. Weekly requests for information have gone unreturned. They appear to be ghosting me. I felt my only recourse was to share my experience with this dealer so others could potentially avoid a bad experience themselves.
