Last night, I had a flat tire. I’m a CPA who is in the middle of tax season so I had client meetings at 10:00 the next morning. I put the donut on and left for a place to fix the tire this morning. I called Crestivew Cadillac, where I got the car and have been a customer for over 10 years or more. I told them I had this issue, want to replace the tire, no plug, no patch, just replace the tire. The service person responded by saying “we only do by appointment only.” Really? The flat tire didn’t make an appointment. So I decided to drive over to my office area in Fraser and see if Belle Tire had a tire to just replace the tire. Not even put the tire back 0n the car.. They told me Michelin had discontinued that tire and had another but they couldn’t just sell me one, because it was a 4 wheel drive vehicle and I needed all tires to be the same. They recommended I go to Genesis Cadillac and see if they had one. I called and Steve, the service person, told me to bring the car over and they would do just that, replace the tire and put it back in the back of the vehicle. I took it over there. While waiting, he came in and told me that the tire they thought they had, they didn’t have so guess what this dealership did. They put me in a brand new ST6, told me to go my office and when they got the tire in and fixed it and PUT IT BACK ON THE VEHICLE AND WASHED THE CAR, they would bring my car back to my Fraser office and take the ST6 back, no charge, which they did. He said it may not be finished until Friday. I’m in Rochester on Friday I told him. He asked for the address and said he would have a person bring my car over to Rochester to get the ST6. NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE. My recommendation if you buy a Cadillac, go to Genesis Cadillac, not Crestview Cadillac. Crestview Cadillac lost a loyal customer today over 6 words “Service is provided by appointment only”. If you have any problems and need a great customer service Cadillac dealership, go see Steve at Genesis Cadillac. He’s a great guy and does what he says he’s going to do.
