Never in my life have I heard a person waiting a whole week before having their car serviced. When I called always received the "BRUSH OFF", as if they don't care. The best thing I've heard so far was " they didn't service my car because they didn't know what was wrong"; how could you know whats wrong if you didnt look and find the problem. Well in the end it was just motor mounts but as I write this today, it's almost two weeks and still havent gotten my car back.

Would I recommend this dealership? As a woman who knows nothing about cars, I cant rate their cars, but let me rate their customer service for you. It leaves much to be desired, at the least. My mother, about to retire in two weeks, uses her car to drive from Staten Island to Long Island City each day. You can imagine how difficult it's been for to take public transportation. For the entire ten days as of today, so far, they have promised a call back to my mom, my husband, myself and my brother. Because every couple of days, one of us has been on the phone because every couple of days, they promise to call us "tomorrow". Yesterday, Rocco told us that the GMPP adjuster was there as we speak (how convient he was there right when I called), and told me that he'd call me back and let me know what was happening as soon as the adjuster left. He did not. This morning I called, the phone kept ringing. So, I called the manufacturer's headquarters. When they called, they spoke with Burt, who was the orignal person who kept promising to call tomorrow - Burt told them he had spoken to my brother and told him what was going on - that was Monday and he promised my brother a call tomorrow to let my mom know what was happening. Today is Thursday - no calls. The manufacterer is now involved to see the repair through and I have also filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I would never recommend you bring any repair work to this dealer, if you are under warranty. Because, if their not rolling in the cash that day, they don't care. TRUST THE MANFREDI WAY???? I don't think so. As a matter of fact, I would love to call Mr. Manfredi himself and ask him what he thinks of his the customer service job his people over at Manfredi Chevrolet are doing - particularly Burt and Rocco. My next move is going to be seven on your side and shame shame shame on fox five. I hope this matter will be resolved as my mom needs her car - It is a necessity when you live on Staten Island and this whole issue and the way MANFREDI has handled themselves is unacceptable if you want to be a self proclaimed expert in customer service. Shame on you Manfredi... Shame on you! I might just right a daily review until this issue resolved to let everyone know how many days it took you to do the right thing.

had noise in transmission area of vehicle.....service diagnosed as brakes......had noise over the weekend.....called monday morning.......stated that they could not hear sound the first time....no need for another time.....took van to Bradford Dodge.....problem diagnosed as 2 bad bearings in transmission in less than a half hour......Marra charged my wife $30.....problem was under warranty.....they refused to refund money.....

Terrible service department. I would NOT recommend them. My apt for dashboard lights on and loud engine was 3 weeks ago today. Not once has anyone called me about my apt. I've called multiple times and gotten excuses every time. They can't seem to tell me what's wrong with my car and they certainly don't call or care about there customers.

We purchased a 2010 Matthews Mazda CX-9 from here in 2013. Long story short, 3 years into it, nothing but headaches and free car washes from this dealership. They quoted us 3800-4800 for a transmission because they said the one in our 2010 cx9 was shot (transmission fluid was completely burnt and had ruined solenoids) or I could trade in the car to them for 4000. I have since taken it to two other transmission mechanics and they cannot find the problem Matthews Mazda was talking about. Both separate Mechanics could have lied to me and said the same thing Matthews Mazda did and i would of forked the money over but they said there wasn't anything wrong. Yeah the fluid in the transmission was dark but that was normal. But Matthews Mazda will try and take you for every penny in their service department. Most people like to know what services they are having done and the price before they do the work, not after when your about to check out after sitting there all day and find out they did services you did not expect and now you owe them hundreds of dollars. So back to the tranny problem, Their price for a used cx-9 transmission from Dons Auto Parts 3,800+tax. Matthews Ford (Same Matthews Company) will get that same exact transmission from Dons Auto for 2500 including labor. I asked them to at least match that price. The 'service adviser' Joe actually scoffed, he doesn't like to be questioned, actually talks down to you when your asking questions. He said no they will not match that, it doesn't matter I purchased the car from them, doesn't matter it barely has 80,000 miles on it and we have always kept it serviced. I have owned many Mazda's always purchased them from dealerships, only went with Matthews Mazda because I loved the convenience of it being right in Vestal where I travel often.I should have done my research better. Check for yourself Romano's Mazda in Syracuse is a much better choice, they have better selection, they are in for the long haul, offering certified Mazda's at honest prices. Do yourself a favor, go the extra mile to Romanos, do the research for yourself. I personally will never purchase a car from Matthews Mazda again, nothing but disappointments and tons of coupons for free car washes. Thanks, but no thanks. Oh and my Mazda CX-9 they offered 4,000 for, the one they said was ruined but ran like it was still new... I just got 11,000.
