Since then i have taken it in twice to get it checked out (still under warrany), they keep saying they dont hear anything and "their service manager has ears like a bat, he would have heard it"
The other complaint is that when i needed a 30k trans flush. so i tried to schedule it and asked if i could have a loaner car while its being done...they service guy said they usually dont but maybe they can make an exception and get back to me...he never called back so i had to and was told they didnt have one. I was able to get a ride to and from the dealer on friday and was going to pick it up on saturday. They had said it would be ready on saturday to pick up for sure, because i needed the car for the weekend and CANT be without it during the week b/c of work. When i called Saturday before i went to pick it up another service guy tells me the person who does hte transmission flush wasnt there and i should have been told that. Well i obviously wasnt!!! So i had to be without my car for (without ANY car infact) for 4 days and went back and picked it up monday after work. I was giving no apologies when i went to pick it up or any discounts...i probably wont be going there for my radiator flush (but there damn cars being so picky i dont want to let anybody else touch it)
BTW they just sent me a letter stating they are "conducting a special market test pricing and financing event" and will trade a pre-owned mitsubishi for a 2004-2005 car, truck, van, or SUV for little or no out of pocked expense"....i dont know if ill be going or not if i do ill post how that goes (sounds like a scam to get people in). The letter says i have been SPECIALLY selected HAHA.
hope this helps...but i do really like my '01 diamante LS.

They said it was fine, that's what they all do. Well, the noise got louder and louder so I kept taking it back. They refused to service the car, saying that the brakes are fine. I decided to change the brakes myself and found that the pads were worn down to the metal, what do ya know. This is the kind of service you can expect from Mitsubishi after you purchase the car. Needless to say, this will be the last Mitsubishi I purchase, there are too many other car makers that care about the customer.
