We were in Portland on Monday, June 9, 2025, for something totally unrelated when we realized our Genesis was overdue for service. We're from Albany, and Portland is the closest Genesis service center, so we gave them a call to see if there was any chance we could be squeezed in. Stephen in the service department immediately made us feel like a priority. He’s helped us before and always goes the extra mile when he sees it’s us—and knows we’ve made the trip from out of town. Not only did he get us in for the oil change and tire rotation, but he also took care of a couple of other things we’d been noticing. He made sure everything was addressed and covered under warranty, which was such a relief. He was super patient when I stopped by the desk a few times to check on the car, and he walked us through everything once the service was finished. The cherry on top? He had the car vacuumed—front and back seats! That little detail meant a lot, especially since I hadn’t had time to clean it in forever. Stephen is hands-down the best person to work with in the service department. Friendly, thorough, and genuinely cares about making sure you’re taken care of. Highly recommend asking for him if you're getting your car serviced at Genesis of Portland!

Over the years Stephan in the service department has taken care of all of my repairs and maintenance for my 2006 Subaru. This last time was no exception, and he fit me in quickly and set me up with a rental car because I live so far away. My car was quickly back on the road and has been problem free since. I know that when I take my car in, I will get an honest quote and it will be repaired correctly and that has offered me a lot of peace of mind. Stephan has been the guy that keeps me coming back any time my car is in need of maintenance or repair, and he has done the same for my sister and my parents who both own Subarus. I would highly recommend talking to him for any of your maintenance/repair needs.

He went above and beyond. He had them prioritized my CX 9. He not only had us back on the road in an hour, but was able to get the cost covered by the tire warranty. Braylon saved our trip and is an awesome team member. I look forward to working with him in the future we my car needs service.

Been trying to get a person on the phone for FIVE DAYS. Nobody will answer the phone or return calls from voice mails left. Pretty bad. I’ve tried every extension, sales, parts, business office, Operator and especially SERVICE, where I am trying to communicate with. Cannot see how a car dealership can run without answering the phone EVER, not once. Had my car towed there last night finally, left a note with the tow truck driver who called me back when he delivered my car and said he gave it to a service advisor name Billy, still no call. It’s now near the end of business the next day (day six) still absolutely no human interaction. Wonder if I will need to send another tow truck to pick up my jeep and find another place.
