Do not have your vehicle serviced here. I bought a new truck and had power boards, bed cover and leveling kit installed. Was told a day that turned into 5 days with no updates unless I called about them. Talked to service manager Patrick and he said he would get to the bottom of it . After 30 minutes call my salesman that was off and home with sick kid and he got me information. Called Patrick back up and he hadn't even looked into it. Now truck is back in for a windshield replacement dropped off Thursday and said it would be ready by Saturday. Was called in Friday everything on track and good to go. Now Saturday before 9:00 am I get a phone call from Patrick that it will be Monday or Tuesday before it is ready. I am not sure what to think about the service department there and afraid what is going to happen if I have to e to take the truck in for any repairs or anything since the maintenance plan was bought through them. Stay far far away unless you want continuous issues and lies

So I brought my car in to Jerry’s just to get checked out for a couple things like new windshield wipers, check my brakes, and check my transmission, and check my mirrors that move on their own against my settings. Now they had my car for a couple days, talked me into a new battery… okay fine. Most things are covered under my extended warranty purchase. But here’s the problem. My car left in worse shape than when I brought it in. The check engine light has come on twice now and won’t go off. The rear air conditioning no longer works and my mirrors are still moving on their own no matter what my settings are. They also overcharged me and still haven’t seen payment back for it. I have called multiple times only to be disconnected or get a voicemail. I sent a text which was not responded to until I sent a few more. Was told someone would be calling me about setting up a rental vehicle but still haven’t heard from anyone. Seeing as this company is the one who messed up my car you would think I’d be more of a top priority to fix their mistakes. I’ve got 4 kids and driving around in 100 degree weather with them baking in the backseat is not okay.

I very much liked and appreciated the video of the technicians working on my car. He arranged a shuttle ride to and from your facility that was very efficient. 3/8/25 My driver door handle broke and you could not open the door. Had to find a Toyota dealership to fix the door. After searching for a close dealership I decided on Universal Toyota service Department. Service Department was so nice. I brought the door from the parts department. Mr Carlos Martinez told me it would be fixed about 2 hours and it was on my 2020 Toyota Corolla LE. I wanted some Toyota water that is when I found out Universal Toyota did not have the Toyota Logo water bottles like another dealership. The bothered me a lot and I found Mr John Martinez and told him I had a complaint and would like to talk to the manager. So he took me to Mr Adam Soto. I told him and Mr John Martinez about how disappointed about no TOYOTA Logo water. Because you pay all the money the water means a lot to me. Mr Soto assured me he would get the Toyota Logo water for the Universal Toyota dealership. I was about to leave and he wondered why I was there. Mr John Martinez told him about my door. Mr Adam Soto asked was I ready for a new car. This shocked me I knew that credit issues may stop that. Mr Adam Soto put in the information in the computer and worked out the deal better than when I was blessed with my 2020 new car. Now I have a great warranty again. My car was paid off .Mr John Martinez took me on a test ride in the Toyota Corolla SE 2025. Can back did my paperwork and I had a Brand new Toyota Corolla SE 2025. Thanks to Mr Soto And John Martinez. They both are a blessing. The car is a blessing also. Universal Toyota dealership is the greatest made me feel like family. Bless them all. The Commercials are true they go out of their way make you feel special. Mr John Martinez is the nicest salesman he had all the answers to my questions. Bless you again Mr John Martinez.

I count it an awesome blessin. Parkway Chevrolet has been my go to for all my vehicle needs. Yesterday I met Daryl, who assisted me in finding me a great deal. I was able to drive off in a 2024 Chevy Malibu with only two miles for my daughter. I initially took my car for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Whitney is a great general manager. I needed the oil changed in my vehicle. I was very busy the whole week, but I knew I had to get this done. I dropped off my vehicle, got checked in, and went back to work. I received a notice when my car was ready. I love, love, love this service. The staff was great.

Be mindful of the condition your vehicle is in before their service center performs any service to your vehicle, especially if your vehicle is an older model with high mileage. This is a long read, but it may save you a lot of frustration. I have a 2007 Yukon with over 250k miles that had a motor oil change completed on it at Gateway’s service center in med-December, 2023. Not long after, I began noticing xxxxxxof oil on my driveway. This was unusual because my truck did not have any issues with any fluid leaks prior to Gateway performing the oil change. One week passed from the day the oil was changed before I was able to inspect the truck. It was clearly visible that motor oil was dripping from the motor’s oil pan drain plug. I loosened that plug and noticed metal shavings along the drain plug. I immediately contacted Gateway’s service center and was eventually able to speak with the shop foreman, Mario Montante. I explained the situation and mentioned that I wanted Gateway to inspect the oil pan, but was told that I would have to pay a service fee for them to do so. I found this to be unreasonable, especially after explaining that the motor oil leak began after it was serviced at their shop. I asked if the tech who performed the motor oil change included any notes in their service report stating that any leaks were observed prior to beginning the oil change. Mr. Montante replied that the service center would not have even begun working to change the oil if an oil leak was observed before beginning the service. Mr. Montante then confirmed that the service report did not include any notes that my truck had any leaks prior to the tech beginning the process of changing my truck’s motor oil. Mr. Montante’s solution was to only offer me pricing for the replacement parts and labor, but that I would have to cover those costs. The reasons given for Gateway not covering the costs include: my truck’s motor has over 250,000 miles; the previous motor oil change performed by their service center was approximately 50,000 miles ago; the wear and tear of my truck’s motor could have caused the oil pan drain plug to give out; that their service techs perform work to certain rules and specs; that the oil pan drain hole could have been damaged by someone else prior to their service center performing the motor oil change; and insinuating that I may be attempting fraud by trying to have Gateway cover the costs of the damage. I replied that their own service report does not mention notes about my truck having any leaks before the tech began servicing it, that same service report also does not mention damaged threads to the oil pan, and that it is highly unlikely bolt threads become stripped from wear and tear. I then asked Mr. Montante if I could speak with his supervisor. Mr. Montante said his supervisor’s name was Jerry and that he was listening to the call. However, Jerry never get on the line to speak with me and I was told he had just left the office after asking to speak with him directly. Before ending the call, Mr. Montante stated he would email the service report and summary of our call. I have yet to receive any communication from Mr. Montante. I sent an email to Mr. Montante, Jerry, and several other Gateway employees on December 22, 2023, detailing the situation and requesting that someone at Gateway contact me in order to resolve the situation. I have yet to be contacted by anyone with Gateway. I mentioned to Mr. Montante during our call that my truck is a family vehicle and relied on daily. This means I could not risk continuing to drive my truck without risking my family’s safety and damaging the motor unless immediate repairs were made because the extent of the damage to the oil pan threads was unknown. While working to find a solution, I discovered drain plug was over tightened which stripped the oil pan drain hole threads and chipped the surface of the drain hole opening. The oil filter was also over tightened.

Worst service department I ever dealt with. My new Ram 1500 with only 900 miles and 3 months old started showing check brakes-check engine- check rear stability control. First I was told their techs needed more info because it was so new they didn't know how to fix it. Then they said it had a bad module but none were available.after a month they said they would take one from one on lot and install in mine. Been 10 days now and being told can't get to it yet have to wait in line.My service rep is the worst person I have ever had to deal with. Has no concern for my issues. Will never deal with Lithia again!!!!!!!!

Tim Rich, Service Advisor provided me with superior customer service. He is a ten star service advisor. He went above and beyond in having a new engine installed in my 2015 Sonata much quicker than I expected. He even took time out to obtain a quote and time frame from a body shop to have the hood of my car painted and had my car delivered to them. Tim is extremely friendly, very responsive, knowledgeable and treated me as if I were his most important customer. I suspect be treats each of his customers the same way, as VIPs! He was upfront with me and has restored my faith that honesty still exists in the automotive repair business. I highly recommend Tim Rich to handle your service needs.
