Went in for my Toyota provided 15,000 mile service ( tire rotation) and I told the service advisor I had a brake pulsation, the service advisor told me it would be $150 to check it out ! The truck is a 2024 with 15000 miles on it! I don’t think I will be returning or recommending! And they can forget the Highlander that I was going to purchase in the spring also.

I purchased a Certified Used 2016 Ram 1500 pickup from - rtomhave

I purchased a Certified Used 2016 Ram 1500 pickup from Marlow Motor Company on March 16, 2024. The vehicle was purchased at 80,000 miles. Since that time I have had two service appointments at Marlow Motors with oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections. I have had the battery replaced, replaced the serpentine belt, replaced the CPCH and valve-purge control, and spent $970.50 in parts and labor along the way. Then, on March 3, 2025, after just over 10,000 driving miles in the first year, I was due for inspection. I confidently returned to Marlowe for the inspection thinking that since the purchase of a Certified Used Vehicle, regularity of service and inspections, and just over 10,000 miles of usage in the first year, I would pay my $20 for a successful inspection and be on my way. Some time later while in the waiting room, I received a text telling me that my vehicle had failed inspection and that there were 5 items that "required immediate attention" to the tune of $1683.58. Fourth on the list of these items was "Replace Rear Brake Pads and Resurface Rotos." A service representative soon joined me in the waiting room to further explain that it was the brakes that had failed inspection. The first three items on the "requires immediate attention" list included brake fluid exchange service and four-wheel alignment, and differential service. The fifth item was "replacing cabin air filter" which I was pretty sure did not "require immediate attention" in relation to a state inspection. I asked the service representative what it meant to purchase a Certified Used Vehicle and he mumbled that everything is in working order and safe. When I queried how the brakes of a Certified Used Vehicle could be deemed unsafe with only 10,000 miles of usage, I was told that the inspector did not look at my purchase and service history. I told him that I had lost trust and confidence in Marlowe Motors as my service shop and how disappointed I was in that I was planning to continue my service with them for the vehicle, but now simply wanted my vehicle returned. They had lost me as a customer. For the cost of $22.87 and a failed inspection sticker in my windshield, I went to another local state inspector, paid my $20 and passed inspection. Lesson learned.

Do not believe the lifetime power train warranty scam they offer. My salesman was super nice but when I asked what all I had to do to keep the lifetime powertrain warranty I was told to have any scheduled maintenance that pertained to the power train (Oil change, Transmission fluid change, and rear differential fluid change) serviced by Priority which even though its more expensive than other shops, I was more than willing to have this done for the warranty. After a enough miles had passed they stated that Honda recommended brake fluid change, but I had mechanic check fluid condition, and it was not needed, I also purchased tires from a shop that offers free rotation so of course I had that taken care of as well. But upon my last oil change at Priority, I was told I no longer had a power train warranty with them because of tire rotation and brake fluid, neither of which affects the power train. So just be aware of the shady business model and don't simply believe what their employees are telling you because the fine writing says different.

They are always very polite towards me when I come in for a service. One day I had my lights come on my dash, I was very upset. To find out what was wrong was under warranty. I had groceries in my car. They gave me a loaner for a day while they worked on my car.

However, let me share what transpired. They initially claimed that the battery was draining due to a faulty gear switch selector, then they said the radio was not the original one, so they ordered a faceplate and replaced the gear selector. They charged me $1500, stating it was fixed. During the time they had my car, the service manager defended the mechanic, who was so disrespectful that he told me if I knew so much, I should fix it myself. Instead of addressing the issue, they added a power shut-off switch in the trunk. A few weeks later, I received a call saying my car was fixed. Neither the service manager nor the dealer manager, Mr. Will, from both dealerships in Prince George, ever contacted me. The next day, after getting my vehicle back, I called to inform them that it was still not fixed and needed proper repairs. They called me and begged me in person to change my online review. I never received a call offering to fix it correctly if I brought it back. I decided to take my car to a different shop, where they showed me the parts the dealer claimed to have replaced. The selector switch knob was corroded with white water stains from years of neglect. In short, they lied about fixing my car; the mechanic never even touched it. I have all the old parts from the new shop, and now my car will be professionally repaired with genuine new parts. They charged me a fortune without fixing anything. I repeatedly asked to see all the replaced parts, but they ignored my requests. However, when it came time to pay, they were quick to respond and even begged me not to make this public. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and demand a full refund, plus the money I spent to have it fixed by a qualified mechanic. Just remember, Ford, just because someone knows how to change oil and spark plugs doesn’t mean they are a true mechanic. I will continue to share my experience online and... you need to apologize for the mechanic behaviour and refund money plus the 3800 extra i had to come up to fix it by a profesional and all after market parts was remove by the new shop,
