Avoid having your Volvo serviced here. After buying a 2021 XC90 from this dealership, I've had several questionable servicing appointments. The first was a routine oil change, which left my wife stranded on the freeway 15 minutes after picking the vehicle up because something was not replaced correctly causing the vehicle to dump the entire contents of the oil tank on the highway. Mistakes happen, I get it, so we continued using them, the most recent of which spending almost $2K on a 15K routine maintenance inspection. The latest, however, has lead me to be an advertisement for avoiding this dealership. A "Start/Stop" light warning light recently appeared on my dash. Had I done a simple google search I could have avoided all of this and just replaced the auxiliary battery myself for $150 and 15 minutes. Instead we took it to Volvo Bellevue to tell us about the warning light (nothing else was requested, signed for etc.) An hour later we get a $2250 inspection report - $1K to replace the battery and $1200 to replace front brake pads and rotors. When speaking with the advisor, he/Volvo were unaware that these same front rotors they wanted to replace were just replaced BY THEM 2 years earlier (12K miles) because they were faulty. When I reminded the advisor of this, he said "oh, well, yeah they probably don't need to be replaced then." Just a pad replacement for front axle would be $600, I was told. I declined all service, then was told I owed them $350 for putting a voltage meter to my battery to tell me it needed replacing. I asked to speak to a manager, we played phone tag, and the last conversation was with a service desk person who said the manager and "all other servicing reps" are busy with the afternoon rush and would call me back - hours later no call. 5 hours later an invoice is sent for $350, which equates to 1 hour of labor ($310/hr) to put a voltage meter to the battery. Finally get a call from the manager who tells me my wife was told by the advisor that there would be a $310 (excl tax) inspection fee - my wife says that never happened. I'm inclined to believe my wife. So we paid the $350 to get my car back exactly as I dropped it off a couple hours earlier. Consider another servicing shop - there are a couple nearby that specialize in Volvo that get spectacular reviews (Europa), which is where I'll be headed in the future.

Complete failure. Service rep could not find the problem when it was described to him in detail. I am not a mechanic but know what the problem is. I gave every detail needed to make the proper diagnostic with ease. When picking up the vehicle was told my manager and I drove the vehicle together and we couldn't hear the sound. The stereo was at a volume that no one could have heard the obvious malfunction, when I got into the car upon pick up. Then the service rep told me that he could not justify the parameters needed to replace the part on warranty. So you refuse to do what is right knowing what's wrong with my vehicle because it's to hard to get the money from the warranty company? Maybe you should have kept your job at jiffly lube steve, drain plugs are easy to replace!

I had my Full Service Oil Change today with Port Orchard Ford. This dealership and it's employees has always done right by me and my Ford Fusion. I have been a long time customer and will continue in the future. Brenda Dunn was a blessing today with providing customer service. Brenda was the only one working the service desk and she was moving! Brenda took care of all the customers with a smile and gracious attitude. She kept communication open and provided input on progress of my vehicle. Thank you, Port Orchard Ford and Thank you, Miss Brenda for taking me back to when the customer is made to feel number one.

I cannot say enough good things about the service department at Price Ford. Eric in the service department went out of his way to communicate with me about a recent issue with my Ford Explorer. He was extrememly gracious with a misunderstanding on my part! Rob Palmer created a solution for a part that needed to be replaced that exceeded my expectations. I have been impressed to experience the great customer service but I was excited to hear from Shane a recent hire there at Price Ford that this trend of caring for people extends to the employees.

I took my car in because it was 2 years since my last checkup (I had driven only 3000 miles in that interval) and the oil pressure light had just turned on. I sat in the waiting room for 4 1/2 hours while they did an oil change and diagnostics (seemed a long time for that amount of work). The service manager then gave me a list of $5000 worth of additional servicing needed, which included $409 for transmission service (done by them at the previous servicing only 3000 miles previously), $315 for fuel induction service (done 13000 miles previously), and $715 to replace the spark plugs (the car has only 51,000 miles on it). When I turned the car on to leave, the oil pressure light was still on. When I complained, the service manager said checking that would require another appointment for additional diagnostics (even though I told him about the problem when I gave him the car). When I dealt with him, he seemed very inexperienced and he found it difficult to explain why I needed the service items they claimed I needed. I guess I need to find a new place to get my car serviced. And I really would like to find somebody who could figure out why the oil pressure light is on.

They appear as consistently understaffed. 30 minutes to drop a vehicle off an hour to pick a vehicle up not sure if this is people or process but vehicles been in 5+- times between May 24 & Feb 25 and have been helped by someone different every time. The last time vehicle was in for engine light (same light it had been in for 3 times before) and 45k service, charged $1250+ for service… 2 air filters, tranny fluid, and ‘inspection’ Had to put a gallon of washer fluid in 3 days after picking the vehicle up but I was assured the service was done properly… Called to confirm that it is indeed their process to check and fill fluid. Service centers at dealerships are the worst but Gilchrist puts forth extra effort to make the process just a little more painful. Appears to me that they cater to fleet vehicles which may drive their response time. It took them 5 days to perform service and replace coolant valve. I assume they had to ship a part but was overly frustrated to the point I no longer cared to ask.
