I’ve had issues with Tom Bush MINI’s service department in the past, but my recent experience was the final straw. I had a scheduled appointment for an alignment and still ended up waiting 4.5 hours in their waiting room — completely unacceptable and a total waste of time. Then I brought my car in because several warning lights came on (overheating, drivetrain malfunction, etc.). They told me I needed a bunch of repairs, most of which were covered under my warranty. The only thing I was told I’d have to pay out of pocket for was a drive belt and motor mount hardware — totaling $125. But somehow, Tom Bush came back and tried to charge me an extra $1,300! When I asked for a detailed breakdown to see where this mysterious $1,300 was coming from, they straight-up told me they couldn’t provide one. I had to go through the hassle of calling my warranty provider myself to get an actual breakdown I ended up having my car towed all the way to MINI of Wesley Chapel in Tampa, where everything was handled professionally and according to my warranty and I’m only paying $125 This place is a total scam. Dishonest, disorganized, and completely disrespectful of your time and money. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

A huge shout out to Joel Schuchman, Service Technician at Venice Honda. He and his maintenance technicians were saddled with a chronic electronic problem in my used Honda Odyssey. Due to the unique nature of the problem they had to confer with off site technical support. Each time they thought that they had solved the problem. Each time I brought the van back Joel handled a grumpy customer with a cool head and grace. The bottom line, Joel is a very knowledgeable and respectful service tech who is most definitely an asset to Venice Honda

I am disappointed to say the least, I had an appt for backup camera recall repair & wheel alignment. I decided to leave my car overnight due conflict of my work schedule, i appreciate they have me a loaner car. The next day after my work, I went back however the wheel alignment wasn’t done & I don’t want to wait 45 min minimum, I got convinced to leave the car again overnight.

David from the service department went above and beyond the normal service department assistance in assessing the issue and providing me a possible solution. Then Steve from the parts department went outside with me to assess the issue personally and provided me with a solution that not only completely solved the problem, but it was cost effective and saved me money.
