I’ve had issues with Tom Bush MINI’s service department in the past, but my recent experience was the final straw. I had a scheduled appointment for an alignment and still ended up waiting 4.5 hours in their waiting room — completely unacceptable and a total waste of time.
Then I brought my car in because several warning lights came on (overheating, drivetrain malfunction, etc.). They told me I needed a bunch of repairs, most of which were covered under my warranty. The only thing I was told I’d have to pay out of pocket for was a drive belt and motor mount hardware — totaling $125. But somehow, Tom Bush came back and tried to charge me an extra $1,300!
When I asked for a detailed breakdown to see where this mysterious $1,300 was coming from, they straight-up told me they couldn’t provide one. I had to go through the hassle of calling my warranty provider myself to get an actual breakdown
I ended up having my car towed all the way to MINI of Wesley Chapel in Tampa, where everything was handled professionally and according to my warranty and I’m only paying $125
This place is a total scam. Dishonest, disorganized, and completely disrespectful of your time and money. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.
