I had a very negative experience at this dealership's service department. My wife took our 2-year-old Hyundai Tucson, with only 26,000 miles on it, in for a simple oil change. The service advisor returned with a list of 'strongly recommended' repairs and services totaling over $1,700.
Among the recommendations was a full set of new tires, despite the original tires being rated for 50,000 miles. When my wife expressed skepticism, the service advisor reportedly told her that modern tires 'don't get nearly the mileage they are rated for.' This excuse feels like a transparent attempt to sell unnecessary products. We also questioned several other recommendations on the list that seemed premature for a car with such low mileage.
This visit felt like an attempt to take advantage of a customer by pressuring them into paying for services they don't need. I would advise anyone to be cautious and to get a second opinion before approving any major repairs suggested here.
