Unfortunately I got him. He's non existent in customer reviews going back almost 6 months. And I surely know why after dealing with his totally unethical comments for only 15 minutes. I've bought 34 new cars from over 20 dealership in my years. This experience was disgustingly a first! I didn't know it was proper for a salesman to tell a potential customer that "ALL that matters is putting as much money in MY pocket as possible!", "This is Capitalism." and "I'm not trying to save you money." Thats verbatim!! You should be embarrassed! Atlantic Chevrolet responded PRIVATELY on 3/13/23 7:33 PM Good day Mr. NYS4ME (Tommy Clark) Thank you for your input regarding our business and our sales rep, Ahmed. Ahmed has been with us for over 15 years, and has had many happy customers over this time period. What you are saying doesn’t sound right to us, especially because we could not identify you through your initial review. In all the years here, Ahmed has never said anything close to what has been stated here. He has always been very cordial to all of his customers. Being in the middle of the showroom, we would have heard such comments. Also, there is no record of you ever being here in the showroom. When we spoke to Ahmed about your interaction with him, he had a very different account of what happened. It turns out that you were not actually in the showroom, and this was a phone call. You were looking to save thousands on an already discounted vehicle and when we couldn’t do that, you wrote this review under an alias. We take these reviews very seriously. Based on Ahmed’s account of what happened, you were looking to save thousands of dollars on an already discounted vehicle in order to resell it and make a profit on it …as you stated, that you had done in the past many times with many different dealerships. From your conversation with Ahmed, you actually purchased brand new Corvettes from Chevrolet dealers and “flipped them for a profit” including Z06 Corvettes. This leads us to believe that your account of this review is false. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime. I will try and contact you tomorrow to further discuss Thank You Ronnie DeTommaso NYS4ME responded PRIVATELY on 3/13/23 11:34 PM LOL. That guy has you all fooled. First of all, he said exactly what i said he said. EXACTLY! He didn't like me being persistent on my many continued attempts to negotiate a better price. I'm not quite sure how he heard a word I said, as it was 15 minutes of constant interruption and talking over me. And its irrelevant that this happened over the phone and not in person. Secondly, i dont flip cars. I bought a 2020 used C8 in January 2022 for 23,000 OVER the sticker. (90 for a 67K car) I needed to sell it that Summer and only got back 83. LOSS! I'm spontaneous. Thats why i stopped at a dealer then, with zero intention of buying and left 2 hours later with a C8. AND Thats why i was interested in yours. Like i told him, my order should be sent in GM next Thursday if all goes right. Maybe have the car mid May. I am anxious and had to try to get the best deal i could. BUT when HE says to me his only goal is to put as much money in "MY" pocket, my interest went away. And when i expressed how unethical that statement is to a customer, he said, "Ok Tom, Goodbye" and hung up before i could get another word in. And lastly, i wish i was able to get a new Z06. I do know a few people who were early on a couple lists, from waiting in line overnight upon that day you could places orders. And when the 6 months warranty comes about, they probably will sell. Unfortunately i dont get to benefit from their potential winfall. I just have to continue waiting for my car, luckily at MSRP. I'll live. Funny thing is, if I had a friendly, reasonable discussion, where the salesman didnt keep saying how long he's been doing this job (23 years), that he sells 300 cars a year, his goal is to make as much as possible and all his accolades to liked to tell, they probably would have talked me into paying the 88K, like SO many other salesman have done to me! Like i said before, my first experience with a salesman like this in over 30 purchases from a good 20 dealers, phone and in person over 30 years. Obviously your dealership is well liked and you have great salesman based on the reviews here. BUT he sucks! Just the facts. Sorry!! Say Hi to Ahmed for me. ?? That is the most ridiculous accusation seeing I posted this same review on your Facebook page, under MYSELF. LOL. Hey, my offer of 80K still stands too on that already HIGHLY DISCOUNTED car! ?????????? 8K OVER original sticker on a USED car! (Yes, ok, lightly used) Sure wish they transferred me to that salesman Paul that day. Oh well! Have a great day ya'll.

This is the second vehicle that I have leased at Atlantic Cadillac and the professionalism we received the 1st time is what brought us back to the dealership. We couldn't believe the service I received last night was actually better than the first time we were at the dealership. The salesman Ahmed Elfar and manager John Nassour were incredible and went above and beyond to help my wife and I with the process to get our new vehicle. We walked in just trying to get an idea of what we could expect when our XT5 lease expired in January. With the crazy economy that has been hitting everyone our expectations were low that we could actually acquire another Cadillac. My wife enjoyed her car and really wanted to get an XT4 as her next one, but we were not optimistic due to the payments some of our friends were getting for their new vehicles. I have never walked into a dealership and by the time i was done was able to leave with my new XT4. Ahmed was determined to do whatever he could to get what we needed and to make this experience as pleasant as possible. John as a manger helped his salesman with the purchase and with whatever was needed to get our vehicle ready for delivery including filling it up with fuel and helping with getting it detailed so we could take it home that night. You can see that these two gentlemen really care about their customers and will go to great lengths to keep their clientele satisfied. You have a great staff and should be really proud to know that the high standards Cadillac sets are being met at this dealership.
