Anthony patie After shopping online and getting pricing local and beyond I went to Pappas because of selection and price. I was pleasantly surprised . Anthony patiently showed us a bunch of different models and options. We easily settled on a good price. We did not have to go and play the haggle game. The finance people were able to match rates with my credit union and were very nice. I have bought close to 25 new cars and this was way above the norm. More

It’s safe, great on gas, and I never had any issues with mine. After 2 solid months of searching the area on February 27th I went to Pappas Toyota and instantly saw exactly what I have been looking for - I test drove 1 car, it was a 2018 white Corolla with less than 6000 miles on it, it was a gorgeous car and I loved it instantly. After test driving I informed my car salesmen, Anthony, I was ready to purchase the car and to let me know the next steps. The next day after filling out the paperwork and waiting to hear back from Anthony on the tint scheduling I was told he left sick for the day. After being patient and understanding 2 days later I called Pappas again to inform them I was still trying to purchase this car and haven’t heard anything- I was then transferred to Frank, a new car salesman, I sent him the information Anthony had sent me and Frank finalized the deal. Finally after a long week of headaches and lots of text back and forth of just trying to buy the car it was time to come in and sign. I get there and it’s not even the car I picked out. Anthony had wrote the VIN number down wrong and it was a 2013 gray Corolla they had even tinted it for me even though I mentioned the car was white several times. I was very upset and when I told Frank this wasn’t the car I had chosen he said the car had sold that I wanted and to go home while he tried to find me the same car. Before leaving I personally drove around the lot and saw 2 cars that looked exactly like the one I wanted. I get a call from Frank towards the end of the day saying they have nothing like the car I was going to get on their lot. I told him I saw 2 cars just like it he then acted confused like he wasn’t sure what I was talking about so I told him I took pictures of them and would send them to him. He then, after asking to talk to a manager, said to me what is it that you want. I said what I want is a car just like the one I thought I was coming in to purchase for 18,500 like I was originally committed to. Then magically they came up with a car just like the one I had seen and said they would give it to me for the same cost. When he sent me the loan information and I did my own math it was almost 21,000 for the car! So at this point I’m so frustrated and I tell Frank when I do my math it adds up to a different number. He says oh that’s the interest even though I already had 0% interest in my deal. He says oh my mistake that’s right let me fix that. What it boils down to is they sold me a brand new 2019 for 19,949 still almost 1500 than I was planning on spending but yes still a great deal for the car. You would think I’m done right? After all of this after reviewing the final paperwork the payment was higher than it should have been and I realized they added a $2,200 warranty I didn’t even know I was signing for because I had already made it very clear the price point I was at. I called and talked with Jamie in accounting and she said you can cancel within 30 days and sent me the cancellation form which said the $2,200 will go towards the Toyota loan, the payments would remain the same and you would just pay the loan off sooner, this is not what I agreed to! I was finally able to get ahold of Angelo, the general manager, and after explaining my horrible experience with him he called me back within the hour and after rewriting everything he got me back down to the 19,949.. I say all of this to say I came here knowing exactly what I wanted, I was prepared in every way to buy a car and it seems like they did everything they could not to sell me a car. Although I got a good deal in the long run the headache and all the extra work I’ve had to do this last month just to purchase it was absurd. I would get everything in writing and if you do find a car you love don’t leave without it because you can not trust this dealership. More
