Don, Apologies on your recent experiences at Lia Toyota. You made your appointment with one of our BDC agents on a Friday night on the available Sienna XLE. You came in Saturday morning at 10am (1 hour after open) and the vehicle was unfortunately sold to someone else by then. Also unfortunately, the agent was not able to reach you about the vehicle being sold by the time you got here. At this point you were already here so the salesperson offered you the next available Sienna coming in 6 weeks. When you were here you had mentioned you had a deposit on another Sienna at another dealer also coming in 6 weeks that you’ve been waiting 6+ months for. As you can see, because the severe lack of Sienna inventory, it is very hard to hold availability on these units. With this being said, we are not here to “bait and switch” our customers coming in. We are here to inform and guide our customers through their buying experience. Please let us know if you would like to discuss this further and, again, our apologies on the missteps.
