Carey Myers at Brookside Motors Inc

We went in looking for a truck to pull our camper. We where thinking about diesel but after talking with the salesman they said that for the weight and size we would be good with a v8 rather than diesels. They showed us a few trucks that would fit what we wanted and even a few diesel just do see the difference. The treated us fair from the price of the truck to the price of our trade in. The extended warranty is very nice they didn't try to just sale us one to make money they acutely use it there self on there own vehicles. Would defiantly go back for service, to buy another vehicle and will recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a fair deal and a good sales crew.

My husband & I were very pleased with our 1st buying experience @ Brookside Motors! Our salesman, Carey, and the whole team there, were so friendly and helpful. What a great selection fo vehicles they have on their lot! We found the exact truck we had been looking for: a 2001 FORD RANGER SUPERCAB XLT (to replace our previous truck which had been "hit and demolished" a few weeks earlier). After weeks of looking and comparing vehicles, we knew it was a pretty fair price they were asking too (however, they still worked with us knowing what insurance had offered us in settlement). Carey was SO organized and KNOWLEDGEABLE, it made the whole process simple! The dealership made sure the truck was serviced & any items needing addressed were. We could tell they took pride in only placing well maintained & serviced vehicles on their lot. They treated us like family, and we were very satisfied. Thanks everyone! The reason why I gave Brookside Motors a GREAT rating in every category is because Carey, Jim and Chuck ALL were GREAT. I was in a very tight spot to be financed for any kind of car let alone the very nice, close to brand new car that they were able to get my fiancé and me into. The staff was all very friendly and worked their butts off to get us into a car. I am VERY impressed with Brookside and will continue to do business with them in the future. I had a great buying experience at this dealership. Not your typical dealership. I didn't feel pressured or annoyed by any of the salesman or dealers like I was finding at other dealerships. As a matter of fact, I feel bad that I wasn't my friendly self when I initially walked through the door...but I was already in the defensive, don't -feel-like-dealing with another car dealership mood. My mood did turn around immediately when I realized I was dealing with a totally different kind of dealership. I was in the market for a used Jetta TDI and had done my research and visited other dealerships in Baltimore, MD, where I live. Brookside had the car I wanted and for a good price. I originally spoke to Carey Myers on the phone and told him I was on my way up to see it. When I walked in, I was greeted by a bunch of people. Carey was already busy with a customer so Tim Goelz worked with me. I would like to point out that even though Carey was not the one who eventually sold me the car, he made a point to stop and talked to me many times, offered my fiance and I drinks, and genuinely cared about my buying experience. Tim was great to work with as well. We took the car for a quick test drive...he wasn't try to "sell" the car, but rather made sure it was the right car for me. Totally genuine. I was completely honest that I already knew the car was priced very fairly, but asked Tim if it was possible to come down to a certain price pretty much just to make me feel better because I knew I was also purchasing an extended warranty. I figured it was worth a try...they agreed to it...no haggling...and I felt good making the purchase. All and all...I would recommend this dealership time and time again. I had to leave my car up there to get some work done to the AC. For the inconvenience and because I was bummed that I couldn't bring my car home...they gave me a loaner car until it was done. As soon as it was done (like within two days), they washed it and vacuumed it again and drove it all the way down to Baltimore to me...like an hour and a half drive for them. The service department has exceptional customer service as well. Thanks again Brookside!

First let me say, this is an easy one! After buying used cars as long as we have, it's does our heart good to know that there's a dealership that actually does what it advertise, Provides great service! this is our tenth used car purchase! As a first time Brookside motors customer it was truly a wonderful experience. Starting with the initial call when we first saw the Cadillac Escalade on cars.com. Though we made calls to four other dealers, getting on the phone with Carey Myers gave us a feeling of comfort. After a two hour ride to the dealership, Carey Greeted our family like he's known us for years. From meeting the manager/owner to the finance manger to the other sales team, everyone was polite, professional and again treated us like we've been customers for years! My family and I move about in a positive state, so for us, this was completely a great and welcoming experience. Brookside motor can be sure they have a customer for life. This was honestly by far, the best experience I have ever had buying a car! When I first began looking for a clean used suv,for my wife. I narrowed my search to a specific year, make and model. I stuck to the state of Pennsylvania. Admitedly, still a large search when your looking for a Jeep Grand Cherokee! After several weeks of looking at literally hundreds of Jeeps, using all the typical searches one would use in the used car market, I found Brookside Motors in Dover PA! This,for me,was over 200 miles away...But the Jeep was So Clean...I mean, Absolutely Perfect! The next step was to call...This is usually where the pressure begins. I paused for a moment and mentally considered the possibility of the conversation leading me to Dover. I've got to make the right decision here!... So,I dailed the phone...Carey Myers answered, within a short period of time I could feel something very genuine about Carey that made me comfortable. I knew then, this was the right choice! Honestely, the rest of if was easy and it was fun. Brookside Motors even paid our hotel expense to come to Dover! Upon our arrivial,Carey came outside to greet us. The Jeep was sitting in front of the dealership. It was everything Carey said it was and even prettier in real life. During the test drive, my wife & I shared a nice conversation with,our tour guide/salesman. It was quite apparent that Cary is very knowledgeable and experienced and a great reflection on Brookside Motors. Everyone there was so friendly and we had such a positive experience, we were both a little sad leaving Dover... Guaranteed, The next time we need to replace a vechicle, I will "ABSOLUTELY" not waste any time searching the internet, I will call Brookside Motors First!

I purchased a 2011 Hyundai Sonata from Brookside yesterday and I was amazed at what a wonderful dealership this was to work with! All of the staff was very pleasant to work with and they really went the extra mile to get me the car I wanted. Thank you to everyone at Brookside Motors! My wife & I went to Broodside to look at a used pathfinder. I had spoken with Carey on the telephone earlier that day to get some more detailed information. When we arrived at the dealership Carey meet us outside the dealership shortly after getting out of our vehicle, this was impressive since we had never meet in person before. Just a note during our phone conversation we did discuss the possible trade of the vehicle we were driving when we arrived, never the less he came to us and introduced himself & offered his assistance. We drove the pathfinder we were interested in, then proceded to discuss values. They drove our vehicle, then we discussed trade in value. We came to an agreement on price, by now it was getting close to closing. Carey asked if wanted to take the vehicle along that night, we stated we would return the next day to pick up the vehicle. Both Carey & Wes stated they would stay & complete all of the paperwork that evening if we would like so it would take less time when we came to pick up the vehicle. We agreed that would work out much better. They stayed as addidional 2 hours to complete the paperwork & Wes worked throughly to get the payment in the range we advised him we wanted to be, & was able to include a additional warranty package.

During our time there all of the other sales reps. were very nice & communitive, discussing other vehicles & informative when we had any question. The co-owner was there & thanked us for stopping by & checking the inventory of the lot, {prior to the agreement of the sale}. During our wait we were offered beverages, & snacks while we were waiting for the preperation of the paperwork.

When we returned to pick up our new/used vehicle everyone was as plesant as the previous night & aided in transfering items from our trade vehicle to our purchased vehicle, [such as license plates & any ohter items we wanted assistance with]. We also discussed another vehicle on the lot & test drove it at that time but the tow capacity was found to be a little light for our present needs. So they will let me know if they get something I am looking for in inventory.

An added note, my wife & I went & looked at the vehicle the night before when the dealership was closed along with several others at other lots. So we already knew which dealerships we wanted to visit. Also I have alread checked the values through Kelley Blue Book of the vehicles we were interested in as well as the trade value of our vehicle. I was impressed that when it came time to discuss price they were comparing they value of our vehicle & theirs using the same book. Not like alot of dealerships they use one book to get the value of their vehicle & then another book {ex. Black Book to get the trade in value}. They were very straight forward on all points of the sale vehicle & our trade.

I have already recommended Brookside to our family & we will buy there again. They made the whole experience of purchasing another vehicle very pleasurable. A++++++++ to the Brookside team.

They had a great staff that was friendly. They had the best price on the car I was on the market for. They beat all other dealerships by thousands of dollars. They had a good sales approach. Pushed me enough to think of the deal I was getting without going over the limits. I highly recommend this company to anyone searching for a new car.
