We are certainly sorry for any financial loss or hardship any of our customers face. However, as a business, we follow a set of standard procedures in all of our transactions. In this case, you purchased a 9 year old pre-owned vehicle with 60,000 miles on it. It went through our standard used car safety inspection, which it passed. Whenever we sell a pre-owned vehicle we sell it "AS-IS" and are very careful to represent it as such. In this case, it was disclosed and signed on 5 different documents. In addition, we make every attempt to offer all of our customers extended warranties, in the event an unforeseen problem develops with their vehicle. This attempt was made and you declined, in writing. The vehicle was driven for 5 and half months and over 6,000 miles. Then, the turbo malfunctioned. An independent mechanic determined and provided us with a report saying there was nothing to suggest the turbo was not working as designed when we sold the vehicle. Again, it is unfortunate this occurred but it was not caused by or missed by us. Offers to assist were made repeatedly, to you, your parents, and the Better Business Bureau, which you declined. While the situation is unfortunate we have no desire to trade insults when every attempt was given you to protect your investment via a warranty. We proudly back our products and stand by our customers but will not take responsibility for every time a used car breaks due to user negligence.
