I originally reached out to North Shore Mazda after receiving a very competitive lease proposal on a 2026 Mazda CX-90 PHEV Preferred from GM Xavier. Based on the written proposal, I came to the dealers receiving a very competitive lease proposal on a 2026 Mazda CX-90 PHEV Preferred from GM Xavier. Based on the written proposal, I came to the dealership prepared to complete the lease. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was told the vehicle we negotiated had already been sold. I was then asked if I would still move forward if they located another car from a different Mazda dealership. I agreed, and they proceeded with the process, including running my credit. Afterward, Kenneth the Finance Manager and Xavier informed me they had found another vehicle, but it would cost more due to transportation costs and additional factory-installed options. I explained that I wasn’t interested in paying for options I never requested and simply wanted the original deal we had already agreed upon. The explanation I received was that the original vehicle had been sold because I hadn’t provided an exact arrival time. While that’s true, I had clearly told them I would be coming that day, and I did exactly that. Since the preferred trim was already sold I test drove the CX-90 PHEV Premium and was genuinely impressed with the vehicle, but it wasn’t the model or payment we had negotiated. The biggest disappointment came after my visit. Over the next couple of months, I followed up several times. Xavier replied by text saying he would “look into it,” and never got back to me. I understand that inventory changes and sometimes deals can’t be recreated. I would have completely respected a simple response saying, “We can’t make that deal anymore.” Instead, after multiple conversations, a dealership visit, a credit application, a test drive, and several follow-ups, the communication simply stopped. Overall I was disappointed most with the lack of follow-through and communication A straightforward yes or no regarding whether the original proposal could still be honored would have gone a long way. I emailed Kenneth after a few months since I was not getting a real response from Xavier. Kenneth emailed me asking to remind him of the deal that was in place because it’s been a little while. I then sent him the screen shots of the quote that was provided to me by his GM Xavier. I never heard back from Kenneth after sending him the information he requested. I am a life long Honda Owner and this dealership had the opportunity to introduce me being an owner of a Mazda. I’ve leased for the past 9 years. Mazda could have had a repeat customer but came up short when things really came down to it. More

Very, knowledgeable, of all the Mazda vehicles, particularly the Mazda CX 50 Hybrid. Christina was very patient putting together several quotes and knows the confusing Mazda system, inside and out particularly the Mazda CX 50 Hybrid.
