We were pre-approved, had our trade-in ready, and communicated clearly that we were coming to buy — not to browse. Julie told us the vehicle would be held. That was a lie. Cristian failed to communicate any changes. Then, just five minutes before our appointment, we received a call that the car had just been sold — while we were already en route. When we arrived, we were brushed off by Jacob, who showed zero concern or accountability for the situation. And despite the fact that the appointment was booked with Branden Martinez himself, he never even came out to speak to us. No explanation. No apology. No professionalism. Their “appointment” system clearly means nothing. It’s just a way to get buyers in the door, regardless of what you’ve been promised. We were ready to give them our business that day, and they handled it with complete disregard for our time and trust. This is not how a Toyota dealership — or any business — should treat people. We strongly urge others to avoid Toyota of Riverside. If you expect honesty, professionalism, or basic courtesy, look elsewhere. More
