Thank you for taking the time to discuss your concerns with all our management team. The Sunset powertrain warranty, administered by AGWS, requires routine maintenance to be performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s owner’s manual. Unfortunately, based on the documentation provided, those specific maintenance requirements were not met, which affected the eligibility for warranty coverage and denial by AGWS. We recognize how disappointing this must be. No one wants to face such a major repair unexpectedly, and we understand your concerns about whether you were adequately informed about the maintenance expectations. This requirement is very clear in the written contract you signed. While we cannot verify past conversations, we do empathize with the position this has put you in. Despite these limitations, Sunset Chevrolet made every effort to explore possible solutions. We reached out to General Motors on your behalf in hopes of obtaining goodwill assistance to help offset the cost of the repair, but unfortunately, that request was not approved.
