Everything was good except that it took over 6 hours just to hear from the finance manager on whether or not the financing terms were approved. We live an hour away from the dealership and we already had to to hear from the finance manager on whether or not the financing terms were approved. We live an hour away from the dealership and we already had to leave for home because my wife had to sleep before going back to work night shift at the hospital. The attitude at the dealership was just like they didn’t seem to care much about it. I wasn’t buying a very expensive vehicle and I feel like my application was stepped over a few times throughout the day. We were there at 11 am or so… drove two trucks…. Decided on one and filled out the application. We went to eat lunch, went back to the dealer and they said there wa still a couple people in front of us, so I told them I had to take my wife back home so she could sleep and prepare for work. I could have just ride with her back to Fargo on her way to work if they had let me know if I was approved or not. So we ended up having to make a second special trip to Fargo on Monday because that was the first day she was off work afterwards. The truck is nice and if was smooth after that. I have bought at least 10+ cars in the past and I’m familiar with some of the tactics used for whatever reason at the time. It wasn’t the wait so much that irritated me…. It was the attitude at the dealership…… like My Time is not as important as theirs. That is how the transaction made me feel. More
