Unfortunately, that convenience is no longer enough to justify the continued lack of professionalism, accountability, and urgency I’ve experienced, especially during this most recent visit. I brought my truck in on July 1st for a rear brake replacement and to have the check engine light diagnosed. While they were quick to accept the work, over two weeks later, not even a basic diagnostic has been run. Every phone call I’ve made to follow up has resulted in the same vague response: “I don’t know when we’ll get to it,” or my personal favorite, “I want this truck done as bad as you,” which seems to be their go-to line. Despite their delays, I’ve received no proactive updates—only the information I’m able to get by calling repeatedly. When I ask about alternative transportation or a rental while I wait, I’m told I might qualify for one if the work is warranty-related—but they can’t determine that because they haven’t even looked at the truck. None of these complications or limitations were disclosed when I dropped the truck off. To make matters worse, last week I received a sales call from Hurd—they didn’t even realize my vehicle was in their shop—and were encouraging me to bring it in for service. The irony was beyond frustrating. This is not the first time I’ve had issues here. I’ve experienced multiple delays with repeat emissions-related warranty work, poor communication, and exaggerated pricing—such as being quoted $4,500 for a radiator repair that another shop (Midas) completed within two days for $1,250. After receiving yet another empty promise of an update (which never came), I’ve decided to pick up my vehicle and take my business to Tasca Buick GMC, who assured me they’d have an answer—whether routine or warranty—in just a few days. In short, if you value time, communication, or even basic customer service, I strongly recommend avoiding Hurd Auto Mall’s service department. My loyalty was based on location, but the continued disorganization and disregard for customers has made it clear: the inconvenience of going elsewhere is worth the peace of mind. More

It took a few trial and error’s to find the right market mix; but sure enough Desiree and her the team found a way to make it happen AND Under Cost of where I could have been.
