Unbelievable service! I am so thrilled I went back to Mcgrath M.G. I went for test drives at four dealerships around Chicago. I test drove at Mcgrath M.G. and they followed up a couple days later. I didn't get back there for over a week and when I did, I wasn't expecting to leave with a car. Dan Edelstein was my salesperson and I truly have never experienced the type of service that he provided. I was bouncing back and forth with a pre-owned vs. new. Dan was overly patient and never went for the upsell--he was trying to make sure I left happy. He provided the pros and cons and the irony is that his info/advice was leading me to go pre-owned. However, when I asked for the comparison of the new vs. used, the price was too good to pass up. That would've been enough for me to write a great review. But the best part is that I told him the car was for my wife and that I had been shopping for a couple weeks. I explained that she left the house that morning completely stressed for various reasons. He came up with a great idea to surprise her with a delivery at her job. The guy literally went to a store to buy flowers and multiple bows to decorate the car with. He delivered the car with a note that I wrote and completely went into character. Needless to say, the surprise blew her away, brought her to tears and on top of all that, he filmed it for me. I'm not sure that this review will do justice to the service that I got but I can genuinely say that this is the best service I have ever gotten. It's difficult as a car buyer, to not go into a dealer with your guard up and be defensive based on how things used to work. I can only say that you should go meet Dan and the team at Mcgrath Morton Grove before you make a decision to purchase. More

I appreciate the fact that he did not bad mouth the other SUVs we drove but focused on the MDX and it's adavantages. Pleasant experience which is hard to say most of the time. More

Happy camper I bought the RDX from McGrath over the weekend. I could not be more pleased. They were attentive but not pushy and worked with me to get the car I wanted at the price I wanted. Rashad was great to work with. He took his time to show me all the features and make sure I knew what I would be getting. I appreciated his attention to detail and his work to customize the car the way we wanted it was a nice touch. The service area looks really nice with the recent upgrade and it's close to my home. I hope to purchase an MDX from him in a few years... More

I was sold a damaged vehicle and they would not replace it. I'm writing a review based on my third purchase at Mc Grath Acura of Morton Grove. My previous two experiences were fine which is why I came back a th I'm writing a review based on my third purchase at Mc Grath Acura of Morton Grove. My previous two experiences were fine which is why I came back a third time. I purchased a new Acura MDX Advance with entertainment package for right around 54,000. They immediately sat me down with a rookie salesman who did not know what he was doing. Through the negotiation of a price on the car and a price for my trade-in they switched sales persons on me. As they became more confusing in the cost and the trade-in value the sales manager also sat down with me. They were very aggressive at getting me to take home a car that evening that I did not want. I refused and so they acquired the color and model I wanted from their Chicago McGrath location. I was sent home in a loaner car instead of my own because of their concern I might change my mind. The next day the new car was to be prepared with mudguards, all season floor mats, and wheel locks. When I came in to pick up the car at 5 PM they had told me the mudguards were not in and I would have to come back the next day to have them installed. I took pictures of the car in the delivery bay thankfully because it reveals the damage to the front bumper present upon delivery. A trim panel on the right side was popped out and there was a very dull paint finish all over the right side of the bumper. This was the biggest of my nightmares. Besides that there was still white film from factory delivery on the roof of the car, the passenger side rear door had lower door sill trim popped up, there are scratches in the center console that cannot be removed, there was grease all over the video display, and in general they did a very cheap job of cleaning up their most expensive vehicle model they sell. When I went into get the mud guards installed I was told that they were in fact available and could have been installed on the time of delivery. The damage to the front bumper was pointed out to the sales manager who took very little concern. When I asked him to get it fixed I drove the car in for him to look at it once more. He had his assistant promise me to call the next day to set an appointment. That never happened and so I called back to them. Two days of repeated messages to Mr. Yu were disregarded so I then contacted Sam the general manager. Once again I had to drive the car in 25 miles one way mind you to have the general manager look at the damages. Sam made a comment that I thought was very troubling stating that someone in the factory must have wanted to quit early on a Friday afternoon and it look like the bumper was not fully painted. I was told the bumper may need to be removed to be repaired. At that point the car had less than 300 miles and I stated they should replace it with a vehicle that was not damaged. Sam had Bob the general service manager set me an appointment to have the body shop try to buff the dullness out of the bumper AND fix a small dent that they caused when installing the mud guards. On my sixth visit thinking I was going to get the car repaired that should have been delivered perfect in the first place I come in to find out that the person that does paintless dent repair tech is not in on Mondays. Therefore I was required to come back a seventh time to finally get the car I expected. They were able to buff out the dullness on the bumper and a very poor job of fixing the dent. I drove the car home and gave it a really good look and what it's very apparent is that this car had a front and impact causing this bumper problem. The right side does not line up well with the metal quarter panel. I have attempted to contact Acura corporate and only get phone tag from a guy who never answers his phone name Anthony. I will adamantly speak out against Mc Grath Acura for their poor treatment of a third time customer and I will consider not buying an Acura again in the future. Keep in mind I have purchased seven new Hondas and three new Acura is in my lifetime. Mc Grath will screw you too! Five trips 25 miles one way were not needed. That's 250 miles of driving in heavy traffic to deal with a bunch of xxxxxxxx! More

Stay Away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are the worst. I contacted them for a used car I saw online. The website said it is not a certified used car, but the manager named Elson told me They are the worst. I contacted them for a used car I saw online. The website said it is not a certified used car, but the manager named Elson told me it is a certified one and ask for $2000 more. Seeing it still a good deal, I agreed. I told him I live 300 miles from the dealer so I will fly over in the weekend to test drive and buy it with financing from my credit union. He pressured me to apply for financing with them so he can hold the car for me. I applied and got approved. Thinking everything is okay, I booked my airplane ticket. The next day, out of curious, I asked them for the document show the car is certified, they couldn't find anything to show me. Then Elson called me and told me they found a leaked in the engine so he couldn't sell the car to me anymore, huh??? Such a liar! How can a car be certified in the first place if it has a leaked engine? Provided no apology, he then offer me a bunch of different cars which are $4-5000 more expensive. Do you see how they play trick with me? They pull my credit and make me bought an airplane ticket for nothing. But the worst part is the next morning When i called them to only ask them to remove the inquiry on my credit (i did not bother ask about reimbursement for my ticket) they transfer me around and finally a manager named Josh blatantly denied all wrongdoing and told me it is my fault to not put down a deposit and I can still buy other cars from them. That's how they will treat you. They will lure you in, lie to you, sell you a broken car and then treat you like dirt after taking your money. Run away, don't bother looking unless you want to be treated like dirt. More

This Place SUCKS!!!!! They are absolutely terrible. I bought a 2008 Honda civic on Thursday, Aug 13th. During the negotiation, they agreed on a price of 9,300 dollars and I paid 1,000 down payment and the next day when I went to pick the car up, the salesman disagreed on the price and he said that he made a mistake and told us a price 700 dollars more than the day before, which is not what we had negotiated and made a deal on. He backed out of the deal we had made. This should not be a policy of Mcgrath Acura; the salesman made the mistake and told us one price, and we are being punished for it. Mcgrath Acura is cheating its customers and I am going to spread the word around and make sure to never visit their dealership again. They are going to keep losing buyers if their salespeople continue to make these mistakes. Backing out of a deal is dishonest and shows that Mcgrath Acura does not have any regards for integrity. More
