There was a blue-tec recall. I went to the Rocklin dealership and it took several months to get the proper parts to do the repair. Once the parts arrived a loaner vehicle was provided. It took two weeks to complete the repair.
After the repair the fuel consumption went from 25mpg to 19mpg. The car was also not as responsive as before the repair. The diesel fuel started leaking from the engine area. I brought the car to a local certified Mercedes mechanic. He informed me that the leak should have been covered under the blue-tec warranty. I brought the car back to Rocklin Mercedes. I was not only told the problem was not covered under the warranty I was charged a $210.00 diagnostic fee. I am very disappointed in the handling of this problem by Mercedes of Rocklin
