Though I have spent a large part of my life in the Houston area, I'm originally from Louisiana. I graduated from LSU in 2008 and moved to Chicago shortly there after. I loved my time in the city, but after my wife became pregnant with our second child we decided it was time to move back to the Houston area to be closer to family. Growing up, cars were a constant conversation, specifically European sport and touring cars. I have a deep love and interest for Mercedes Benz and the Mercedes AMG brands. I pride myself on my indepth knowledge of the features and functions that our amazing vehicles have to offer. That being said, for the vast majority of my life I was not selling cars or even working in this industry, I was on the customers side of the table. I want to assist you in choosing the car that is perfect for YOU and aim to foster life long relationships with my clients.

Every employee we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. My wife was very surprised when an employee brought the vehicle into the building, put a bow on it and photographed her by the car. She was thankful that he spent time with her going over the various instruments and controls, how they worked and how to operate them. He also set up her cellphone to work with the vehicle. We could not be happier about the dealership and its outstanding level of service. Free car washes? No kidding! More

Why didn't I just start at this dealership... First off let me give everyone some background information. As a former military combat veteran, and proud new father of my first-born son, I wa First off let me give everyone some background information. As a former military combat veteran, and proud new father of my first-born son, I was in the market to trade in my first real sports car, a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS 1LE, for a more practical and “newborn friendly” vehicle. After coming across the review of the Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 as one of the top-rated SUV’s by Consumer Reports, and taking one for a test drive at my local Mercedes-Benz dealership, I decided to look for the best “bang for my buck” and started the search for a Certified Pre-owned within a 100 mile radius of my home in the Clear Lake area. My wife had taken off work for a couple months for the birth of our son, so I knew I had a little extra time to conduct a more comprehensive search. Over the next few weeks I visited multiple different Mercedes-Benz dealerships throughout the Houston area, and talked with countless salesmen (on the phone, in person, and via e-mail). In all honesty, I wish I would have started with the Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands. I suppose I did not visit all the Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the Houston area, but of the ones I did visit I can honestly say this dealership was by far the best. Besides the typical back and forth on my trade-in I can say this was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. The original salesman I had talked to the day before unfortunately was on his day off whenever I wanted to come look at this 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, but within an hour or so I received a call back from his sales manager, and was reassigned to another salesman, Kriss Arbury. Kriss called me directly and told me he was going to take over, and set up my appointment time for 1730. At the time, I was on the way to another dealership to look at another GLC 300. Being that the Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands was over an hour away from my house, I figured it could not hurt to stop at a few other dealerships along the way and check out everyone else’s inventory in person before I made my final decision. Primarily I was doing all my searching using the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned website’s search engine, and I was hesitant about the Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands dealership for two main reasons: 1. The distance, and 2. Their prices seemed to be a little higher than some of the other dealership’s comparable vehicles. Like I said previously I wish I would have just bypassed all those other dealerships and drove straight to the Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands first. Yes, their prices were a little bit higher than some of the other dealerships, but the quality of their vehicles were well worth the difference in cost. They had a few GLC 300’s I wanted to compare, and since I was going to be stressed for time, because the dealership’s closing time was 1900, I asked Kriss if it would be possible for him to park all the vehicles I was interested in side by side to expedite the decision-making process. I was pleasantly surprised to see all the vehicles I’d requested parked right next to one another as soon as I pulled into their parking lot. Aesthetically this is a very beautiful dealership, with a more modern feel and contemporary styling throughout. But now down to the main details. My salesman, Kriss Arbury did an awesome job of working with me. He was up front, honest, personable, and came across as a good person. He gave me an extensive tour of their facility, which included a relaxing waiting room where you can watch your vehicle being taken care of, washed (since they give free car washes on site), or any other maintenance needed. Not to mention the free to use massage chairs, ice cream bar, and drink bar. I was introduced to multiple people who work there in various capacities, and was amazed at how everyone treated me more like a family member rather than just another customer. If fact, I had an extended conversation with their designated AMG Performance salesman about having to go from a sports car to an SUV because of my new son. The dealership worked with me, and eventually we came to a deal. They took a little off their asking price, and gave me a fair trade-in value on my Camaro. Also, I was impressed with Anthony Cruz, their Product Specialist, who spent at least a solid 30-45 minutes going over all the features of my new 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 even though I was there way past their closing time. He even offered to drive an hour down to my house to program my garage door opener for me, which I thought was a little unnecessary, and told him I’d be able to figure it out on my own. My salesman, Kriss Arbury, also stayed over 90 minutes past their closing time, and made sure everything was “good to go” before I left. In closing, I traded in my 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS 1LE, and I felt that I received a more than fair deal on a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 (Certified Pre-Owned). For anyone interested in buying a Mercedes-Benz in the Houston area I’d highly recommend this be the first dealership you go to. A special thanks to Texas Direct Auto who gave me a more accurate trade-in evaluation on my 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS 1LE than every dealership I dealt with, which gave me the proper leverage needed to get the best possible deal. I hVe driven mainly Porsche and Audi over the past 15 years. MBOTW have been exceptional in providing detail of the vehicle and creating a very professional and courteous ambience. My buying experience wa exceptional, and even though the spec which I preferred to order was unavailable, they went out of their way to get me the karts after I took delivery - and at a great price. Well done Erich, my sales person, and a special shoutout to the sales manager Joe and finance director Paula who both followed up with answers to my questions. In 31 years, this is the best service I have experienced!!! More
