When beginning the car buying process, I was nervous about the badgering and price negotiations, but the second I walked on the Honda lot and Gary approached me, I knew I was in good hands. He was extremely friendly, knowledgable and most of all, not pressuring. He was very easy going and allowed us to test drive twice before coming back to make the final purchase. For the quality of service and the car, the price and process were amazing. I would differently recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used Honda.

We have now purchased 3 cars from Gary Jones at Mungenast. He is always so easy to work with and helps in any way he can. We do not ever feel pressured or like anything is being hidden. Gary makes car buying easy. And, we never leave the car lot without feeling totally satisfied. I am going thru chemo right now and have a low energy level. Gary and Ivo went out of their way to make sure all the paperwork was done rapidly and that I was comfortable at all times. And on a personal level - I just like them. I also like Mungenast entire sales process. I would recommend this dealership and especially Gary Jones without reservation.

Great Salesperson with Great Service. My car broke down after 265,000 miles unexpectedly January 20, 2012. One week later I visited the Auto Show in St. Louis and was very disappointed with the lack of attention given to me and the other visitors from the representatives at each car dealership. My challenged to purchase a new car began. I started out looking at 5 seater SUV's at Ford/Edge, Chevy/Equinox and Honda/CRV and quickly changed my mind to the 7 seater SUV's. I went back to look at the Ford/Explorer, Honda/Pilot and also took a look at the Toyota/Highlander. After extensive research and customer service, I am now the proud owner of a Honda Pilot.I believe every car dealership needs to take a good look at their sales force and offer some retraining on customer service. Gary Jones,from St. Louis Honda Mungenast is one of the most professional,respectful and well-informed salesperson that I meet and dealt with than any salesperson at the other dealerships. He was very patience with explaining each and every detail, inside and outside of the Pilot before I test drove it. Literature was reviewed and all my questions and concerns were addressed. Due to work schedule pulling me out of town for extended periods of time, the decision to purchase the Pilot went on for several weeks. He respected my time and did not call my constantly. I want to thank both Gary Jones and St Louis Honda Mungenast for my wonderful experience with the purchase of my new Pilot. Gary Jones should be "Salesman of the Year", he deserve it. Thanks again.

Gary was extremely helpful yet didn't pressure me to buy like most other salesmen I'd met with had. He answered all my questions and went over all of the different options I had, as well as all the features of my new car once the deal was final. He even helped me transfer all my stuff from my old car into my new one. Ivo was also very helpful and informative - giving me all of my options along with his professional opinion as to which ones would be most beneficial to my personal situation. I would definitely do business with these two again!

My Review of Mungenast St. Louis Honda:
Gary Jones was patient, thorough, and not pushy about getting a sale. The formatted paperwork that detailed what I would pay for the new car, any related discounts, what I would receive for my trade-in, etc. was outstanding. I feel that I received a very fair deal, and didn't have to play the pricing "games" that I tried to get pulled into at another local Honda dealer. I met Gary on a Tuesday morning and after making a few comparison shopping stops, bought my 2012 Honday Odyssey from him later that same day.

My Review of Mungenast St. Louis Honda:
This is the third Honda we have purchased from St. Louis Honda since 1988 and the second from Gary Jones. In addition we live 40 minutes from St. Louis Honda and have had ALL of our service work done at St. Louis Honda. The store is always well kept, a excellent waiting area, friendly knowledgeable staff and provide shuttle service. IF... anything additional is found that needs to be repaired they are very accurate at estimating and always have the parts and I do not need to return to have the vehicle repaired.

Gary Jones sold us our 2005 Honda and we asked for him when we stated looking for a new vehicle. Gary was and still is professional, knowledgeable, willing to take any amount of time to answer your questions and we never have felt we were being pushed into making a deal. When we purchase another car or if any of our family or friends we will recommend St. Louis Honda and especially Gary Jones.

Randy went to great lengths to accomodate me. I initially planned to purchase a Honda Fit, but it would not handle my inclined driveway. Randy and the dealership were very good about letting me borrow vehicles to test on my driveway. They offered suggestions also. I ended up buying a Civic because it handled my driveway incline. Randy and the dealership team were committed to helping me solve this driveway problem.

Excellent service from the walk in (with trade in) to the walk out with a new car. I have bought many new cars, but this was the easiest and the most pleasant. Gary Jones is low pressure, but assures you of the best deal.

My Review of Mungenast St. Louis Honda:
My 2005 Accords a/c stopped working on the hottest day so far in St Louis so I took it to the service dept at Dave Mungenast St Louis Honda for estimate/repair. They found that a "rare occurrence" of a bearing coming loose inside the compressor, destroying it and sending metal shards throughout the entire system, required the entire system be replaced @ $3,255.00. The KBB value was only listed at $6,200 so I decided not to fix it.
I immediately called Gary Jones to locate me another Accord with same features as my existing vehicle. He returned my call that same day but learned that the vehicle found was a demonstrator with 5,xxx miles so he expanded the search to 7 surrounding states. A dealer trade was completed & my new 2010 Accord was picked up and delivered to me on Saturday.
Of course I would recommend this dealership to everyone, as this was my second experience, and I did refer a customer to them in June. Gary Jones and Ivo Saric are outstanding associates that provided proactive, friendly, knowledgeable and excellent customer service. They are great ambassadors of the Dave Mungenast and Honda’s values.
