My brand new 2025 Corolla came with 2 scratches on the driver's door and no one at Nye noticed them. They were the first thing I noticed walking up to the car. They had me take the car and said they would need to find out when their body works individual could get it fixed. I waited a week and received no call. I then called Samuel Hersam, the Sales Consultant who sold me the car to find out when my car can be scheduled to fix those scratches. It was agreed that if I dropped it off on the Monday evening, that it would be ready for pick-up on the following Wednesday morning at about 9:30, because the friend who was to take me to Nye (45 minute drive) needed to go to work. I had asked Mr Hersam if they would give me a small tube of touch-up paint for my car for all of this inconvience; he said he would have to check with management. I live 45 minutes from Nye Auto and left a voicemail message on Mr Hersam's phone line to see if they would get me a loaner car so that I would not have to inconvience a friend to drive the 45 minutes to Nye and then drive me home. He never returned my call. I also called him on his cell phone which is listed on his Business Card; I left a message again, but again, no return call. It was obvious that once Mr. Hersam sold me the car, customer service went out the window. And of course, no tube of touch-up paint was received. I called Tuesday late afternoon to make sure the car would be ready. After calling Nye Auto multiple times because no one picked up the call, the Sales Manager, Mr. Geo Jones, answered my call. He said he would call me in the morning to let me know if the car would be ready as promised my Mr. Hersam. I was told that my car would not be ready until that afternoon. My friend already took the morning off from work planning to drive me the 45 minutes to get my car; she could not take the afternoon off last minute. If I had not called, I would have been sitting at Nye Auto much of the day waiting for my car! Sales Manager, Mr. Geo Jones, was very kind, accommodating and apologetic. He actually had an employee of Nye Auto drive my car to my home that afternoon. Mr. Jones knows what customer service is all about. He is to be commended. Given all of this fiasco, I would never recommend Nye Auto to any one. I had chosen Nye Auto because I had purchased my first Toyota Corolla from them 18 years ago and had a great experience. My next Toyota will be purchased from Steet Toyota which is 5 minutes from my home. I hear they give great Customer Service. More
