I made a point of mentioning they're hard to find and wanted to make sure they had one for me for Saturday. I was assured they had multiple available and they would make sure they had one for me and if not they would call me Friday afternoon. They didn't call. I drove the 45 minutes Saturday morning to dealership and no Joe, they give me to another person. She takes my info again, which Joe already had done on phone, gets the vehicle, shows me features, I take a test drive by myself, come back and I'm told none available, no more until next month and lease deal likely won't be as good. I told them how I'd been reassured they would have one for me and she tried saying that they meant they had ones coming in not sold. I disputed this and then I walked. Their deceptive sales practices wasted 2.5 hours of my day. More
Romeo Toyota is Sleazy from Salesmen to Owners Not only do we LOVE our new Highlander XLE, but it takes a LOT to provoke me to leave such a completely rotten review; I only do so after bending over ba only do we LOVE our new Highlander XLE, but it takes a LOT to provoke me to leave such a completely rotten review; I only do so after bending over backwards to be nice and give them the chance to earn at least mediocre feedback. In Oct 2023 they promised to send us a 2nd key fob for our new car as soon as the supply chain backup worked itself out. That was no problem at all. We checked back in 3 months later (Jan 2024) and they were still waiting for a fob to become available. That was no problem at all. We checked back in 3 months later (April 2024) and they emailed back that it was no longer their problem, we should talk to a corporate office. We brought the car in for the first service to our local Toyota dealer (Coggins in VT) and mentioned the fob delay. They said there was no fob delay; they could sell us a fob and program it that week. We called an Albany dealer who said the same thing. (Neither knew we Romeo owed us a fob.) We called an 800 Toyota help line and spoke to an "Advocate." She checked their records, confirmed we were owed a free fob, and said it would be at any dealership we chose in 3 days. I tactfully suggested that it was strange that there was a fob shortage in only one area dealer; she agreed and tactfully said she could not fathom any reason for such an odd occurrence. Think that's bad? It gets worse! I wrote a reserved email to Mike Romeo. I specifically said life was too short and precious to sweat the little things and I didn't want to get anyone fired, but as a small small business owner I felt he would want to know so he could inspire his team to take their game up a notch. (They were basically stringing us along to save the cost of programming a fob!) Mike didn't reply, but Genese Romeo happed to reach out for feedback a few days later to see how we loved our new car 6 months later. I was nice but explained our frustration. Here is his complete response: “Thank you for your feedback! If there's anything else you need, feel free to let me know. I'm here to help!” More
Danielle Kana and the crew were fantastic when we came to service our Toyota Four Runner. We waited a short time in a very user-friendly area where coffee was provided, optional snacks were available, and co service our Toyota Four Runner. We waited a short time in a very user-friendly area where coffee was provided, optional snacks were available, and comfortable chairs. The price was very fair and the work was well done. Zak had gone out of his way to sell the car and the dealership has been great. We would recommend them to anyone. More
Truly the worst purchase experience I've been involved in. On Monday April 1 my wife and I drove 2 hours round-trip because this dealer had what we have been looking for as a college graduation gift. We in. On Monday April 1 my wife and I drove 2 hours round-trip because this dealer had what we have been looking for as a college graduation gift. We upgraded her 2008 prius with this 2017. A quick test drive and my only request was the put it thru the shop for a oil change and to touch up some nicks on the hood. They said it would be ready Friday. On the day before, Thursday, I called to confirm everything was all set. Zac informed me yes, everything was ready. When I arrived on Friday with my daughter and wife nothing had been done, the vehicle never moved. Walt the General Manager told me that he would make it up to me by 1. Delivering the vehicle so I wouldn't need to make the 2 hr trip. 2. Would make sure it had a full tank of gas, it's only 11 gallons. 3. He would have a damaged lens replaced also in good faith. When Monday the delivery day came I recived a call saying that the paint was touched up but that they would not be changing out the lens. So, no full tank if gas, a lousy 11 gallons. No lens replacement. Nothing is worse than making customers promises and then just blowing them off. As a buisness owner my word is my bond and my customers return because of this. I will never return to Romeo Toyota, truly the worst experience I have ever with a dealer. More
Do not buy from here. I purchased a 2018 infiniti q60, they sold me a warranty that was supposed to be an additional 60k miles but was only until the car had 60k, (car had I purchased a 2018 infiniti q60, they sold me a warranty that was supposed to be an additional 60k miles but was only until the car had 60k, (car had 44k at time of purchase) sold me the warranty for 3k when infiniti gives warranty’s until 70k. Have had nothing but issues with this car, missing oil and coolant and they say theres no leaks but acknowledged both were missing. This whole dealership is built off taking your money but advertise they treat you like family. Stay far, far away More

Purchasing a new Highlander from Romeo Toyota was made so easy with our salesman, Joe Taylor. He’s honest approach is refreshing and the act of buying a car was actually a pleasant experience. Though they were unable to pass that vehicle for sale they have been very helpful in finding another similar vehicle for me. After all, you have to trust somebody. they have been very helpful in finding another similar vehicle for me. After all, you have to trust somebody. More
