I brought my car to have it checked due to a sound I was hearing. After spending $240 on a diagnostic, I was told that due to oil sludge in the engine that I needed a new engine at the cost of $22,000. Be hearing. After spending $240 on a diagnostic, I was told that due to oil sludge in the engine that I needed a new engine at the cost of $22,000. Because I regularly maintain my vehicle, I took it to my regular mechanic to get a second opinion. I watched as he sent a camera into the engine compartment along the path oil would take and it was completely clean and showed no sludge. My mechanic said that not only do I not need a new engine, he didn't know what you were talking about. This vehicle was the fourth vehicle I've purchased from you. I've never had any issues with your service department prior to this visit. I have to wonder whether you were actually looking at my car or someone else's when you performed the diagnostic. More
