Hello Gdshaum, thank you for your review. Our records indicate that you purchased this vehicle in person from us on 9/6 when your current vehicle broke down while you were on vacation in Oregon. This was a more affordable, older MY2010 Ford Expedition with high mileage that was being sold “as is” having passed a safety inspection. It included the one key that came with the vehicle, which you were aware of. You also signed paperwork as part of the purchase agreement acknowledging this is an “As is” purchase”. As a competitively priced “one price” store, we don’t usually extend discounts on pre-owned inventory, but you received a substantial $600 discount on the purchase to help offset any expense associated with the keys. During the safety inspection, the vehicle, including the struts, was deemed safe by our trained technicians. We have “As is” disclosures in place with the purchase of older / high mileage vehicles so there is a clear understanding between the Holman Auto Center and our customer that the vehicle was safety inspected and passed, but that there may be other wear and tear items that we have not addressed as part of our reconditioning process. While we sympathize with the issue you are having, it is difficult for the Kuni Auto Center to be deemed responsible for something that happened over two months after the purchase, when the vehicle was loaded down with building materials, and when the vehicle was purchased “As is” in the first place. Regards the Kuni Auto Center team

I have since spoken with several folks in Beaverton about Kuni they've all said consistently that they are not reputable and will not stand behind what they sell. I have family in Portland,Gresham and Hillsboro. That's why we are up here regularly. If you are an out of state buyer, they want to have you register your vehicle through "Greenlight". They charge a FEE to refer you to them and then "Greenlight" charges you too (padding the contract). STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
