If you have done business with him, I strongly recommend you and an attorney or CPA audit your documents. I leased my 2020 Tucson SEL from Boucher Hyundai and returned to them February 12, 2024 when I wanted to do a lease buyout because my buyout/total purchase price from Hyundai Motor Finance was $18,361.38, which gave me equity in which I intended to sell my vehicle. But the loan JR Rauth wrote was for $20,036.48, which stole away some of my equity. For the next two months, he evaded giving me a convincing reason why my loan was for so much more. Numbers just didn’t add up. During that time, I also emailed General Sales Manager, Ryan Fitzsimmons, my concerns over this discrepancy, but Ryan never responded to those emails. After two months of intentionally vague and evasive responses from JR Rauth, he finally revealed in an email on May 4, 2024 that “The price of purchase of the vehicle was $1000 more here at store level. I don’t know how else to explain this to you. We seem to be going in circles. Do you want to come in and go over the numbers again?” THAT IS ILLEGAL and VIOLATED the original lease agreement with the pre-determined, fixed amount (residual value) of what my vehicle will cost if I elect to buy it at lease maturity. It is a binding contract I signed with Hyundai Motor Finance, and whether JR Rauth likes it or not, is a BINDING CONTRACT, one in which JR cannot go rogue and decide he’s not going to honor because it doesn’t make him enough commission. He also added $1105.48 sales tax to the loan that was already included in the lease buyout quote that Hyundai Motor Finance says I should not have to pay because the sales tax I owed was already included in the lease buyout. I’m also now starting to question if the credit union offered me a lower interest rate than what JR Rauth quoted me because he refused to show me anything from the bank. My credit score was 782 and I paid 6.9% I’m going to try clarify if that was changed, as well. He really stuck it to me, but he’s met his match because I’ve got the law and a binding contract on my side and I’m currently pursuing multiple legal remedies with statutory damages. More

CORRUPT CROOKS in suits. If you’ve done business with Boucher Hyundai any time in the last few years, audit your documents!! JR Rauth has gone rogue and padded my loan. If he If you’ve done business with Boucher Hyundai any time in the last few years, audit your documents!! JR Rauth has gone rogue and padded my loan. If he’s done it to me, he’s probably been doing it to many unsuspecting others. Go over your documents with a fine tooth comb! They are refusing to answer to me WHY my loan amount was written by Finance Manager JR for at least $1675.10 MORE than the lease buyout quote. My lease buyout/TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE (Out the door price!) from Hyundai Motor Finance was $18,361.38, which included sales tax and the two payments remaining on my lease. But as you can see, JR Rauth prepared the loan in the amount of $20,036.48. I’ve been asking JR and Ryan for over two months now to explain to me the discrepancy and I want to see an itemization with the explanation for the higher loan amount. At first I was told by management that my lease buyout didn’t include sales tax or the last two remaining lease payments, so those costs had to be added in to my loan. I was told that info before I had received my lease buyout breakdown of the numbers. I finally received the lease buyout itemization of all the numbers from Hyundai Motor Finance, who had been stonewalling sending me the document for six weeks. Why?? Aren’t I entitled to know what’s in my lease buyout?? I had to fight for that document. I probably made 30 phone calls to Hyundai Motor Finance demanding my document. Why? I was aware of the $399 service fee, but that doesn’t account for the loan being $1675.10 more. The General Sales Manager, Ryan Fitzsimmons, has flat out not responded to a single email of mine demanding to know what was added to my loan. That seems on the up and up, right? The Finance Manager, JR, who wrote the loan and fully well knows what he did, will respond with generalities. That leads me to speculate and assume I’m not getting answers because he fraudulently padded my loan to increase the commission. This is how Boucher Hyundai treats a return customer—by lying, scheming, and stealing money from me. And I’ve been doing my research and this is FRAUD. What kind of immoral, unscrupulous person does it take to sit face to face with a customer while scamming them from behind a computer screen? How low can Boucher Hyundai go? BEFORE considering doing business with this dealership or any others, watch all the videos on car dealer scams on YouTube. They really have some elaborate schemes to scam you out of money and more. There’s even some undercover footage that’s great. Nothing is too low for them. It’s gotten so bad everyone needs to protect themselves with audio and video before you ever walk through those doors. And I don’t know if that’s even enough, so my advice, don’t ever do business with a car dealer. They’re xxxx. I’m going to fight for a fair and honest resolution to this fraud. To anyone who’s done business with this dealership, you might want to audit your documents with a fine tooth comb or have a professional accountant or attorney look them over. Or better yet, a former car salesperson. They know all the tricks. More
