Jim Prendergast at Lester Glenn Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

To begin with, I don't like the "car buying experience". However, James Prendergast was our salesman and he made the experience as good as it could be. His calm and caring attitude was a plus and he always did what he could, to keep us in the sale. We especially liked his follow-up after the sale to close out any concerns we had. He emailed me and he called me to set up our follow-up visit. We were impressed with the after the sale attention. He arranged to bring the vehicle back for items that the dealer owed us. The commitment after the sale meant a lot to us. That's when my interaction with Service Manager Jon Gold began. He took the keys and the vehicle to complete the "owed" items. The work was done but unfortunately, we weren't happy with the installation of the wheel well edge guards. To be honest, they were sloppily installed. Each one was on different and didn't follow the edge of the wheel wells they way they should have. Jon took one look, agreed and said he would take care of it. In a short while, he brought the vehicle back with the guards replaced and brought me out to inspect the installation. They were now installed as they should be and Jon wanted to make sure that I was happy with them.

So, to sum up, I enjoyed, yes enjoyed my multiple dealings with James Prendergast and Jon Gold. They not only were professional, they were friendly and made me feel they cared about my satisfaction with our new vehicle. That is not good but great customer service. Thank you James and Jon.

Awesome experience with this dealership. Due to my very busy schedule, Elyse went above and beyond to stay in touch with me for several weeks before I was able to get to the showroom. Once I made it there, Jim was outstanding!!! I gave him very specific requirements and he was able to come through for me!!!! Ryan made the paperwork process quick and easy. All in all, after having purchased many vehicles in the past 20 years, this one was by far the best experience ever!!! I will recommend Lester Glenn to anyone who is thinking of purchasing a vehicle!!

I had Jim Prendergast as my salesman and I found him to be one of the best auto salesman I have dealt with in my life. I am sixty five years old and have bought many a car and dealt with a lot of sales personnel so I know a good one when I meet one. Mr. Prendergast was courteous and friendly, not pushy or arrogant, and knowledgeable about all of the features of the car I was considering. He was honest and very conscientious in helping me meet my needs and my goal for the purchase of a new vehicle. Mr. Ryan Del Vecchio was the finance manager that was working on my purchase and he was also excellent. He was very honest and explained every thing concerning the financing and purchase of the vehicle. He had me relaxed and not anxious and went over all the points clearly to make sure I understood them. I would recommend both the dealership and Mr. Prendergast and Mr. Del Vecchio to any of my friends or acquaintances who might be in the market for a new or used car. I lost my car in the flood and I can't express how great Jimmy
was at helping me get another car.
I got a new Chrysler Town and Country 2013 to replace
my 2005 that I bought from Tally's in Point Pleasant Nov. 2004,
as most of you know Tally's is no longer in business.
I am a Senior and have bought a lot of cars, but I have never
had a better experience buying a car as I did at Lester Glenn.
If you live in Bay Head,Point Pleasant Beach or Borough, its
worth the ride to Toms River to buy your replacement from Jimmy

Jim and the rest of the Lester Glenn crew were a pleasure to deal with. I felt like we got a fair price and Darren and Jim explained much about the various additional purchase options. The only negative was that we were told that it would be about 45 minutes once we agreed to purchase the car. It actually took over 2 hours. We understood that Jim was learning a new role on the financing side but we felt that the customer end could have been expedited in some manner.

We were beyond pleased with our expierence at Lester Glenn Jeep.I highly recommend Jim Prendergast, he is an exceptional sales person. He went out of his way to try to get us in to the car we wanted and did everything he was able to to try to please us with making the car we purchased meet our wants. The whole team went out of their way to work with us and we truly appreciate it. We have purchased other cars from other dealerships, two being Jeeps and we will be a loyal Lester Glenn customer for life. We left the dealership feeling we made a good choice and not worn down like we have in past car buying expierences. Matt and Jim were very helpful and professional. The process was simple and easy, I didn't feel pressured. The dealership, charged me exactly what they quoted me to begin with, which made me very happy. I would recommend Lester Glenn Jeep as well as Jim and Matt.

I traded in my minivan for a 2011 pre-owned Hyundai at Lester Glenn. I have had a few credit issues but was so happy that I was able to finance at a great rate. Bill Tompkins and Jim Prendergast were great, very helpul, and found me exactly the car I was looking for. They took time and explained all of the paperwork,financing, and all of the vehicle features. I felt very comfortable, and wasn't pressured in any way. It was a great experience all around, and Lester Glenn will be the first dealership we call when we are in need of a car.
