I have purchased many cars in the past and work Dear Patrick Subaru, I just purchased a 2010 Subaru Outback from Joe Dinneen at your dealership. I have purchased many cars in the past and worked with many different dealerships. As a business owner, I have sat through many sales training seminars, and am fairly familiar with various sales techniques. Regardless, I still hate the car buying process. I enjoy researching the various models and prices, but dislike the sales process itself, as most people do. During this recent car buying process, I visited 2 other Subaru dealers, and 2 Toyota dealers. As a rule of thumb, I buy into the salesperson first, the dealership second, and the product third (within reason). I was particularly impressed with both Joe’s and Michelle’s knowledge of the product, and ability to read and sell to my personality. While I was very direct about how I like to do business, every other dealer nagged me constantly at home, work and on my cell… and asked me the typical contingent commitment questions…. “What can I do to get you into a car today” or “If I can do this, will you do this…etc…” Patrick Subaru is by no means the closest Subaru dealer to my house. However, the staff at Patrick Subaru made me feel comfortable, answered my questions, contacted me when appropriate, and gave me space to make my decisions. I was always greeted warmly when I visited and observed that others were treated in the same manner. I rarely send an email to commend one who sells me a product. I am happy to send this email to commend the staff at Patrick Subaru. You display a banner that claims “We are here to serve the customer, not the other way around (or something like that).” So far, you have delivered on that value and it is appreciated. A really enjoyable experience! I started looking for a new car...one visit (and test drive) at Patrick Subaru with Joe. My next visit, ONE YEAR LATER, I walked in and Joe remembered me! Their records we new car...one visit (and test drive) at Patrick Subaru with Joe. My next visit, ONE YEAR LATER, I walked in and Joe remembered me! Their records were complete so I didn't have to repeat everything I wanted, just the updates. Test drives were tailored to what I requested (i.e. a steep hill). I compared prices with other dealers and Patick Subaru had the lowest sticker. I didn't feel overerly pressured. It is the first time I have bought a car at Patrick but I hope to return the next time! More

I had a great experience at Patrick Subaru buying my first new car! The salesman was great and seemed genuinely interested in finding the right car to suit my needs. I bought an 09 WRX STI from Patrick. I was pleased by the customer service I received. The test drive was long enough for me to really evaluate the vehicle and the salesman offered me as much time as I the customer service I received. The pricing I received was fair and the price negotiation was civilized with no high pressure tactics. My experience with the F&I guy when I picked up the car was one of the best I have ever had when buying a new car. He offered me a variety of service plans and add-ons (all of which I declined) but did not resort to pressuring me in any way. I would definitely shop at Patrick again and would send any friend who wanted a Subaru their way. More

My wife and I had a very good experience at Patrick Subaru located in Shrewsbury, MA. If had only one suggestion for this dealership as a whole it would be this: Please provide the information regarding the "extended warranty" that is available well before the buyer has already chosen to purchase the car. That way the buyer is able to consider this coverage at his/her leisure. I was quite pleased that the salesman took the time to "deliver" our new car to us on his day off and took the time to check on us after the sale. Over all I can say that my wife and I were 100% satisfied with this dealership and will return for future auto purchases. Nice Job! More

He was very accommodating, making it a pleasure to deal with him. He went above and beyond to answer our questions and to provide the best sales service. This was our first experience with Patrick Subaru and we were very impressed. Michelle and Erin promptly responded to inquiries, Rob handled the financing process in a professional and informative manner, and finally, Joe provided peace of mind in what is usually an unpleasant task, namely car shopping. We will happily recommend Patrick Subaru and specifically Joe to friends and family. More

The experience of purchasing the car was a pleasurable one and I found the salespeople that I dealt with to be straightforward, knowledgable, and friendly. I did not feel pressured at this dealership, and I had been to other dealers previously where I had that "feeling". Those of you are shopping around at the moment know what I mean. Perhaps it depends on WHO you are specifically dealing with at Patrick Subaru? (I'm looking at the previous poor reviews). My salesperson was excellent and I did not experience any issues. Then again, my car has 250 miles on it so who knows what may happen when the car comes in for service. Anyway, good luck. Helpful hint: ask for "Joe" when you enter the delaership. More
